Vintage Airstream on Saffron Farm

We gutted our 1968 Airstream and redid the interior with modern, sleek touches like stainless steel countertops, a cork-lined ceiling, and glass tiles in the indoor 1/2 bathroom. Set in a meadow surrounded by old walnut trees, the Airstream is extremely private and its large front deck is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the neighboring vineyard.

The Airstream is equipped with an outside compostable toilet, shower and sink. Inside, there is a half-bathroom with a small sit-tub and sink. The simple inside kitchen includes a mini-fridge, a sink, coffee-making supplies, toaster oven and a microwave (there is no hot plate inside). Outside on the deck, there is a Fuego BBQ gas grill, dining table and chairs, sectional sofa and chaise lounges. There is not a strong-reliable wifi connection inside the Airstream, so come looking to unhook from daily life.

These hosts have really pulled out all the stops to make this a truly incredible glamping experience. The renovated airstream is impeccable inside. There’s attention to the details everywhere, even down to the vintage mugs that go along perfectly with the vibe of the airstream. You even have your own private deck with a lounge sofa, dining table, and grill. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the sofa while we gazed out upon our view of the vineyards.
In the morning we went to go visit the farm stand on the property. On the walk over there you pass a field of lavender, rows of vegetables, and the chickens. You basically get to see where everything comes from before you get to the farm stand and then you get to take your pick of the freshest ingredients inside. Everything looked so good! We decided on purchasing a dozen fresh eggs, a basket of cherry tomatoes, and two bags of tea. The hosts actually make the tea themselves. They have a selection of the tea inside the airstream for you to try, I think we tried just about everyone and fell in love with them all. Once we got to the farm stand and saw the tea bags there, we were pretty excited we got to take some home with us :)
Inside the airstream, they’ve provided everything you could possibly need including kitchen supplies, coffee, tea, French press, shower towels, and other odds and ends. The outdoor shower was a treat and had plenty of hot water for us.
Can’t recommend this place enough, you gotta come check it out for yourself :)
