The Ranch at Cross Road

Nice wide open camping spot. Great views, great communications with the host. Awesome for RVs. Fire pits at all sites. Opportunity for improvement- would be much nicer for cars/vans and RTT campers if a toilet was available.

Awesome grounds! My daughter enjoyed the swing and the goats. My husband enjoyed the shooting range. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. We had 3 trailers and our entire group really liked it.

Great time again

Beautiful ranch within the wine country of eastern Livermore. Large spaces and very private.
Only negative is the spaces are grassland so when it rains it can get muddy for a few hours until it drys out. If you have dogs there are a lot of foxtails to avoid.
Overall 4.5 stars

Matt’s farm was amazing! Super wide open camping spots, kid friendly, beautiful views… we even had our own picnic table and umbrella. Definitely worth it, we’ll come again.

Loved every minute of staying at this Hipcamp. Everything was so open with amazing views of the valley. Our site clean and had a fire pit setup which we didn’t use. There was a sitting area and a grill nearby but we were self contained with our van and didn’t need anything else. We will camp here again.

Matt was very responsive leading up to our stay, met us on arrival and showed us the property. Camping was in a field surrounded by vineyards and orchards, sites were spread out and a BBQ area was provided with seating, games and water. Would be a nice spot to stay while visiting nearby wineries.

We loved the wide open space with gorgeous views all around. The location was also excellent, able to bike to wineries!
