It was my first time going RV camping with a young family. Everything went smoothly and had a great time. At first, I was concerned about the smoke/fire but I decided to hope for the best. It turned out everything worked out and appreciate Aaron was understanding of the whole bad air quality concerns. The river was perfect for a hot day.

This was my first ever hip camp booking and we absolutely loved it! We went camping with a group of 6 with one puppy. I had initially booked a site which, upon arrival, ended being too small and Aaron was incredibly accomplished and loved us. Everything was amazing. We were a 2 min walk from the river. Port a potties were very close and the shower and toilets (that flush!) were super clean and only a few mins away. there’s a fire pit that’s ran by propane and my favorite part- there was a sink with running water! This place was really a great campsite even in 100 degree weather. Just be aware, there are no grills at the actual site (there’s one for sharing tho) so we brought our own stoves and it was perfect. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

We had a blast! Went midweek and had the whole camp ground basically to ourselves. The river access is very nice! There is tons to do in the area in and around the river; hiking, tubing, rafting, parks, museum, etc. Also a number of small, local places to grab food (and a few drinks, if you so desire). We'll definitely be coming back!

RV sites have power and water, but if tent camping in RV sites, be sure to bring a 30A adapter if you want to use the power.

It pains me to provide this outstanding review because once the secret is out about this beautiful location, it will be booked solid! Aaron and fam have done an amazing job at the set up and opening of this site. Clean bathrooms including hot showers and direct flush, propane fire pits, water and wash stations through out. The sites were clearly marked with updated signage and easy accessibility. Great for groups with a number of shady sites as well as volleyball and ping pong! Rock N’Water cove is well maintained and the water access is on the most desirable part of the river. This was our first “HipCamp” experience which did not disappoint. It was a “beautiful surprise”!

We will use the HipCamp app everywhere we travel and will likely be a regular at Rock N’Water Cove Camping! Thank you Aaron for make our stay easy and perfect! Cheers! Melody and Dan
