Nice spot off the beaten path, we had a nice view of the ranch animals and the dogs were friendly.

Nancy’s camping spot was in a beautiful area - very quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the surrounding hills. We will definitely come back with our Airstream when on our way to the Monterey/Carmel area.

When I signed up Hipcamp was showing the location as inside the town, but I was assured it was not. It is on a small farm with a couple of pastures containing a horse and a donkey (and maybe some small animals). Very quiet and quite scenic. The roads to reach the site are, however, rather narrow, but with little or no traffic we had no issues.

The pad was spacious and level and offered 50 and 15 amp connections, as well as water. The driveway in is slightly rough, but our 21' Winnebago had no issues even though it is not a raised trailer.

The town is only about 10 minutes away, so close to civilization. We did not eat at any of the restaurants, but there appeared to be a good number of choices.

Thank you, Kary. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and welcome you to return! Thank you for the heads up on the plug - I will look into it right away. And oh, the driveway bumps... alas, I have been in line waiting for the over-scheduled construction trade. With the pandemic and the heavy rain we had, it's all hands on deck to catch up but I am promised "soon"! The edge of the driveway is solid and flat - easy to drive on to avoid the two short washout spots or to straddle them. Welcome to the country! Enjoy your travels.
