Susan was an excellent host, who went above and beyond. We had a great time in the little cabin by the meadow (the enchanted love shack), and also opted in for the brunch and foraging tour/cooking class. The farm feels far away from the city, but still has wifi and service, so I was able to work a little bit while there. It is also close to downtown Grass Valley, and to Lucchesi vineyards & winery, where we went wine tasting. Highly recommend Susan as a host and Garden Goddess Farm as a location!

Susan was such an incredible host! We stayed in the cutest tree house overlooking her garden. The bed in the love shack was soo comfy, we had the best sleep and the views out the window were incredible. We were about 15-20 minutes away from Auburn and Grass Valley so this was the perfect location! Susan was in constant communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even made us the most delicious breakfast our last morning. She makes homemade sriracha and uses organic ingredients from her garden (amazing). Lastly, we had a pup with us and Susan was super accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely property and a wonderful host ! We enjoyed our 2 day stay. The farm is close to many beautiful hikes (we loved exploring the Independence trail and Deer Creek trail) and 40 min away from the Oregon Creek. The shack has all the basic necessities like mini fridge, bedding sans toilet ( there is a biotoilet in the tent outside, which is clearly disclosed in the listing ). We opted to include brunch during our stay and It was delicious ! Definitely recommend staying at Susan’s place :)

Susan’s place was amazing and the perfect Weekend getaway for my husband and I. We spent it in the enchanted meadows love shack. Which is just far enough away from the main residence to give a sense of privacy. Susan greeted us upon arrival to show us around. We had a fresh bottle of infused water waiting for us. The walkway from the loveshack to where you park, is a little bit of a hike but we found it quite nice and as our form of exercise. We also got the mead tasting with dinner cooked by Susan and just wow!! That was absolutely incredible! Susan’s cooking is just to die for and she seriously spoiled us! I would highly recommend trying one of her many different options as far as tastings and food goes. This place was cool and relaxing and we would definitely come back : )

We had such a great time! It was like a bed and breakfast glamping style. We added on a mead tasting dinner, 2 days of brunch, a lunch, and added an anniversary cake. Everything was so DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin and were very happy there was an outlet to charge our phones with. We ended up staying on a weekend with a high heat advisory and brought a fan to use also. We were very comfortable. The bed was really nice. Additionally, we appreciated the French press for our morning coffee. The restrooms were a cassette toilet and comporting bucket. There was a privacy tent to use also. It was perfect. Susan was super easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions we had via text. We can’t wait to go back and plan to bring friends to stay in one of her other accommodations on the property. The view from the top balcony was breathtaking! Definitely stay here is you want to camp and be spoiled at the same time!

Amazing weekend spent at Susan's farm (the first one in a while).
Everything was so much better than expected! Susan gave us many options because of the rain (our friends slept one night in the RV and one night in the tipi).
Amazing views from the upper deck and the enchanted meadow.
We were welcomed on Saturday night by appetizers and drinks (everything made by Susan). It was delicious!
Many places to explore around (the Yuba river, Nevada city and Grass Valley, lakes and forests.
Thanks again Susan!

Susan was a great host, and the farm is very charming and relaxing. We ate on the deck overlooking the Sierra foothills and high snow capped peaks at sunset, and Susan prepared a delicious meal for us. Thanks again for hosting, and we'll be back again next time with the rest of the family!
