Beautiful views of Mt. Shasta
Beautiful views of Mt. Shasta
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We planned to stay here for a night before driving up to Oregon but ended up extending our stay. Michael was a wonderful host and this farm stay was incredible.
We had so much fresh ripe fruit and veggies, we made a few lavish farm-to-table meals and spent the day at Lake Siskiyou.
Definitely want to come back here with friends. There's a great Traeger grill setup and outdoor kitchen & tables.
Lovely camp with mt shasta view
What a beautiful view we had from our camper van parked alongside a green field. The site was level with plenty of room to position our van for the best view of Mt Shasta. This is a great setup at this HipCamp. Our Sunrise site was near the canvas tents but far enough away that it felt private. There is a wonderful communal area with comfy seating, a fire pit (fire ban was in effect), a large gazebo with tables, horse shoes, bbq, etc. Don’t miss the u-pick orchard (seasonal of course), we had blackberries, nectarines, apricots, grapes, and peaches, all of which we picked with easy access near the communal table. Larry was working in the orchard and helped us select the most delicious, freshest, fruit for our breakfast.
The bathrooms with showers are wonderful, very clean and much like what you would find in a hotel! All essentials and amenities were exactly as listed and Michael answered our text question promptly.
We used Belcampo as a one night stop on our road trip, and happened to be the only HipCampers there that evening. Unfortunately there was a lot of wildfire smoke that rolled in, so our next visit would probably be in the spring or fall, and not to repeat a visit during an August of a particularly bad fire season. With the wonderful communal area this would make an ideal spot for a group outing, family reunion type stay. And from our experience as a one night stop for a road trip it cannot be beat!
We stayed during a nearby wildfire, so the air was so smoky we couldn’t see Shasta 😔. It’s a lovely setting, but very hands off. I would have loved to purchase some meat, but didn’t realize we had to order 48 hours ahead of time.
Fantastic facilities in a majestic
We loved our stay at Mt. Shasta Sunrise! Beautiful setting and wonderful facilities. It was a pleasure to prepare and cook in the outdoor kitchen area. The fully loaded Traegers were a real bonus. The showers and bathrooms were like new. Best of all…a beautiful sunset behind a majestic Mt. Shasta.
