Sierra Foothills Getaway
Beautiful view from the upper tent site. Loved the warm welcome from Joshua's dogs. Was car camping for the night and this site worked well. Flat.

Sierra Foothills RV Getaway
Amzing spot in the Foothills.
Joshua was super nice and welcoming. Very responsive and as soon we got there we felt at home. My family and I stayed in the RV and had an amazing view of the night sky as well as the mountains. Land was well maintained and easy to get too with the directions given. RV was clean and comfortable. We watched a couple of movies and made ourselves dinner. Got to check out the animals in the morning and left with a dozen fresh eggs. Just a great spot to get away from the city and kick back for a couple of days.

Tent site
Joshua’s property was an beautiful sight and the perfect distance to be close enough to town but far away from sound and lights. The campsite itself was incredibly comfortable but keep in mind it’s still nature so you gotta stay alert. Also we loved hearing the sheep sort of singsonging us to sleep and wake as well as the roosters in the early morn. Joshua and his wife Cat were very helpful as well as kind to our family so I would definitely recommend having a stay here and checking out the near by rivers or lakes or just enjoying the great company of your hosts!

Sierra Foothills Camping
Beautiful location, close to many wonderful swim spots by the river. Joshua was traveling but still was extremely responsive and helpful in providing recommendations. The land looked cared for and had a few other folks staying there that were really friendly and introduced themselves

Sierra Foothills Camping
Bring the Dogs and family!
Our first time using Hipcamp for a weekend camping trip. The sites were definitely spaced out and we only saw the other camper as they drove up from the road. The site was nice and level on a hill with good views. We put up our 10 person tent and 10x10 pop up without a problem. It def is a bit of a trek to the outhouse which was comfortable to use and no foul smells at all, the view from it is also pretty cool. The shower was great but also a trek from the sites (near the outhouse) There is an outdoor kitchen/bar set up that is REALLY cool! We were able to pick strawberries from the garden plants that were ripe which our kid loved. Pet friendly site was a plus, our dogs did great and weren’t super anxious the whole time like other sites with other noise and voices nearby. The coordinates given through Hipcamp DO NOT match the address, so make sure to manually enter for directions and don’t use the link they provide. We ended up going 30 minutes away only to realize the location was wrong. We would definitely use this site again. The Beale Falls/Fairy Falls hike was nearby and worth it! Hopefully more people use Joshua as a host who don’t mind a short trek to use facilities. The pictures posted don’t show how awesome the site is. Super pleased with our stay. Interested in trying the RV site next!
