Loved the bald eagles
We loved staying at Finnon lake and wish we’d brought our kayaks. We booked A5 to use with our trailer, but the site was not trailer friendly. Thankfully someone wanted to trade so we ended up in A1, which was great. Management said they’ll be changing the description online to show that A5 not for trailers. All in all lovely and a great place for families.
Rude staff but nice property
The camp site was nice even though difficult to find a flat area to place the tent. The bathroom was clean. Great place for families. Small lake. The only thing that upset me was that as we were leaving, my husband pulled up to the bathroom since we had a long drive ahead of us and we stopped at a vacant campsite in from my of the bathroom just with the intention of my husband running out for less than a minute and back truck running. Because there were none other spots that were not blocking the road. The extremely rude lady yelled at us and told us we cannot park for 60 seconds in that VACANT spot because "people pay money for that site" . Even though we paid as well. We just left since the woman was very very rude and unwelcoming. Long story short, property is great. Staff is RUDE. And I will never get back to a place that treats guests (the ones that pay the workers paychecks) so crappy.
