Beautiful fall destination
Great spot and very quiet, would visit again. Lots of places to walk around. Make sure to plan your drive up rock creek road during daylight hours. There are lots of tight turns
Every site has a fantastic view would come again. 2 routes. Misquito route does not allow trailers. No cell service at a certain point so should route and screen shot maps for coming and going.
Beautiful camping spot
A wonderful spot!! Beautiful area and campsite with ample shade and a lovely swing for the children to play on. The geese were not a bother at all. They stayed to themselves. The bald eagle was cool to see. Swimming in the lake was a highlight! Also we’re able to catch and release a ton of fish. Just a beautiful little gem!
Finnon Lake is now our favorite campgrounds. We have been there 4 times since October 2020. It is quiet with large, very clean campsites. With no motor boats allowed it makes it very serene. There are Eagles, geese, turtles and other wildlife in the lake area. It is simply beautiful there.
The hosts at the campgrounds are very personable, helpful and respectful.
All in all every time has been a 5 star stay!!!!!
