Really enjoyed Hipcamp, I was there during a crazy rain storm, although the first day was a sunny beautiful day! That night it rained for about 12 to 14 hours straight! Tents held up great! Tents were on lots of wood chips that did not allow for any mud, Our host, John was very cool and gave us a Lift to the festival along with a few good stories and a couple cool history lessons. Our campsite was easy to find and very spacious. Would definitely return, thanks John

Does not allow you to hang out with camp neighbors. Felt like you were at middle school sleep away camp. Didn’t stay for the second night we booked

Camped here for MountainSol festival. Great level campsite under the trees and very quiet. Frequent shuttles to and from the music venue at Roaring Camp. Reasonably priced wine and hard cider tasting at the winery on the property, and tasty enough that we brought some home. John and his wife were great hosts.

Highly recommend! John was so welcoming and accommodating. His property is beautiful and you could see so many stars at night. We also saw a couple deer. Hallcrest Vineyards has great wine too!

This is wonderful site, a short walk from Felton where you can grab some great food and drinks at Humble Sea Brewing and stumble on some amazing live music at Felton Music Hall like I did!

The campsite is nicely shaded and some nice trees to hang your hammock! It's also a short walk to Roaring Camp Railroad in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park with some beautiful trails and redwoods!

John was a great host! He saw me walking down to Felton and offered me a ride into town. Some other campers were having van issues and he helped them out too! Great guy!

Thank you Ida❣️ There are little markers on steaks but they aren’t really big enough. It’s a work in process.
