If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Beautiful mountain landscapes surrounding whole campground. Darin was friendly & super chill. They had a big space prepared for us & our trailer with a fire pit ready to go! They also had firewood on site for $20. Bathroom looked like it’s in the middle of renovation but worked great. Was so refreshing to bathe in their outside shower. I suggest bringing an extension cord & converter if you want to hook up to power. Will definitely stay here again!
Great desert spot near palm springs
Great spot out in the high desert above Palm Springs. Darin was very helpful upon arrival and during our stay. As mentioned by the previous reviewer, bring an 110V extension cord and you have a great outdoors work setup with power and a fast tmobile hotspot mobile data connection. We started with a 1-night reservation, which we extended twice for a total of 4 nights. The new bathroom facilities and a good outdoor shower make this a very easy, safe, and pleasant place to stay for an extended period of time. I recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in the desert near Palm Springs.
Nice private camping spot near jt
Great spot to pull up a RV or pitch a tent. The space was private from the owners on property and the bathroom / outdoor shower were a nice touch. Fire pit and available wood were nice to haves. Good alternative to staying inside crowed Joshua Tree National Park. I will be coming back.
We had an amazing time at Elijah and Nate’s! They had more secluded sites and ones that were closer to their property, but if they aren’t full, they let you pick where you want to stay. We had our own area and path to it, where we sat by a campfire all night and just relaxed. The stars are UNREAL!! They have a lot of great ideas they are working on for their site, I am excited to see what they do to it for next time. Super nice guys
Elijah is a miracle man
Elijah waved at us as we approached his property. He wore a Johnny Cash black tee so we knew he was our people. He helped us pick a level spot, hooked us up to electricity and invited us to a Solstice Party . It was so quiet and lovely that we fell asleep and missed the party.
Elijah's positive energy will keep us coming back.
We had a quick stay but it was perfect. Elijah was so friendly and helpful. It was truly a beautiful view. And it was nice to have access to a clean bathroom and outdoor shower. We would definitely return.
A wonderful experience
The campgrounds inside Joshua Tree are closed, but even when they are open they at usually full, and you never know until you arrive, since you can't reserve a campsite in advance. This campsite was a great find, my sons and I had a fun time with a campfire and amazing views of the stars that you'll never get in the city. At night it feels remote, but a restroom and other people are a few minutes walking distance. The dirt road is rough, but I was able to drive my 15 passenger, two wheel drive, non-off road van to the site, no problem. I'd camp here again.
