Our stay at The Olive Ranch was wonderful! It’s a nice shady spot on a great property. The hosts were very helpful and attentive. My favorite parts were the olive vineyard tour and the friendly cats!
Lovely olive orchard with a few chickens, goats, sheep, and very friendly outdoor cats!
The cats were great but also a bit distracting mewing outside our tent. The neighborhood was a bit noisy with what sounded like a party in the evening and some kind of machinery in the morning.
Campsite is under some lovely oaks. There is a very clean porta-potty and outdoor sink. Next to the tent canmping area, there is an above ground pool. The host said it was going to be drained for the season and the ladder had been removed. But, parents, you know a determined toddler will find a way! Not safe for young kids when filled.

My brother, sister, and I gathered with our young kids and +1s at Mark's sweet farm/campsite/backyard. It was PERFECT. Plenty of space for kids to run around, lots of animals and fun stuff to poke around, lots to do in the vicinity. Great to have a campfire in California in a safe and legal way. Mark himself is a great host, thoughtful and available but also not in our hair when we're around the campfire. We loved the visit and will be back again.
My boyfriend and I came here for a night and we LOVED it! Bonnie and her family were very sweet and the tour she gave us was so amazing to see! We got to feed and even pet some of the animals! The camp spot was a great size with 2 fire pits and a picnic table. The orchard itself is huge and she allowed us to walk around when we pleased. I loved hearing the animals in the morning when we woke up :) the area is a close drive to sequoia where we got to spend the day in the snow! There are tons of other activities in the area as well. Overall we loved the vibe of this place and hope to come back soon ⛺️ Thank you for having us!
It was so amazing! The campsite was very private and spacious. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and answered any questions we had promptly. Also the land is beautiful with friendly farm animals all around. Their firepit for us was also great. 10/10 would recommend!!
We loved our stay here! The property was very well kept and clean! The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. Plus, the adorable animals on the property made it so fun! Pretty easy drive up to the sequoias for a beautiful day trip!
A truly idyllic property. The camp site is nestled against a small farm full of rams, chicken, and sheep. Beyond the animals is a large olive tree grove, which is a perfect place for an evening stroll.
Bonnie and her family were incredibly hospitable and invited my 3-year old nephew to help feed the animals each evening. They provided us unlimited firewood for a small fee, and even left out charcoal and kindling for us. There are two fire pits, one for cooking (with a grate) and one more for ambiance. Couldn't have been more perfect.
One note, we wish we had brought ear plugs because the animals can be pretty loud at night/early morning (to be expected when you're near a farm!)
Would love to come stay again!
We had such a great time. We loved helping feed the goats. The hosts were super hospitable and the site was well maintained.
