The ranch is on a gentle slope at the foot of the Hollister Hills to our East and the valley stretches out bellow us. We have some gorgeous oaks on our western edge for a fantastic sunset view. We are a working horse ranch. We have over 30 horses on the property. We have barns and pastures dotted here and there with our polo ponies. We also have a little olive orchard. We also have dogs and chickens who wander freely. When we can we are riding our horses. We have flat spots for dry camping and electrical and water for RV amenities.

Tree Grove Knoll
First the things we liked: the hosts were very friendly, the camp site was spacious and quiet, we could see the stars quite well, it was fun to see the horses and the friendly dogs. Here are things we didn’t like so much, the flip side of the horse ranch is that there is horse poop all over, at certain times of day, also flies and horse manure smell. The place was hard to find (Google maps took us to a neighbor’s property).

A horse lovers dream!
We were so excited to stay and it was better then expected! The hosts, Rebecca and Daniel, were so kind and welcoming that we felt right at home. We were able to walk around and feed the horses snacks and fix them water. My wife was in heaven being around so many horses. So grateful for their hospitality, generosity and conversation. We will definitely be back!
