Tom is a great host offering a wonderful little set up from pitch-your-own to several mini-cabins with double beds or bunks. The common kitchen area is fantastic, and access to two bathrooms and showers is a sweet way to begin or end the day. Tom is knowledgeable of the area, and if he isn't sure knows how to connect you with someone who is. He linked me up with anew operation, West Kootney Adventure Tours and Allen Rollins, so I could make best use of my limited time in the area. It's the sort of place you feel good about returning to.

My son lives in Vancouver, which is where I was headed when I stayed with Tom, and I will definitely be recommending Valhalla Pines to him.
