Hello! Beautiful farm, incredibly friendly owners. A pond is right across from the super cozy yurt. There’s picnic tables to use as well as a grill.
Lots of walking on and around the farm. We were greeted by Erica and Mark and they happily showed us around the farm and made sure we were comfortable.
We loved the wood stove in the yurt. The farm stand has local bread, honey and Produce. And you can get great maple lattes from Mark.
The yurt is so close to the main farm but also super private. We were pleasantly surprised with a memory full size bed, a futon and a twin bed for kids. A table and bedside tables. The woodstove makes it super cozy.
The outhouse is super clean with a washing station right next to it. All you gotta do is bring water and your flashlights and you’re good to go!
A great place to unplug and relax. There is a great Diner down the road and a wonderful walking trail too.
We can’t wait to go back for another stay and come back for the blueberry season as well.
Stayed here this past week. The hosts are very friendly. The Yurt was really cool. Plenty of space. Animals were cute and funny. Especially enjoyed the blueberries and corn that were being sold from the farm. Plenty of drivable hikes and outdoor things to do in the area.
We had a lovely one-night stay at the farm. It was perfectly located between Tanglewood and Burlington, VT. The yurt itself is well kept and spacious. There will soon be an outhouse next to the yurt, but for the moment, it was a quick walk to the portapotty. In the morning, my husband took a kayak out on the pond while I introduced myself to the goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens before visiting the farmstand. If only the rooster wasn't so eager to greet the morning!
We had an incredible experience at Kinder Way Farm and Animal sanctuary. The yurt was cozy with a very comfortable bed and bedding. It is set back on the property and very private. The pond was steps away. We had fun kayaking and sitting by the fire stargazing. The farm tour was so fun and informative. It made me want to spread the word so more people know about this special farm and can stay here to help support the cost of care for the sanctuary animals. We also caught the tail end of picking from their blueberry fields. Everything about our stay was magical. Erika put so much care into creating an inviting and independent space and hosting.

What a treat to stay in the Yurt at The Kinder Way Farm. It was private, beautiful and had everything we needed. I loved cooking overlooking the large pond and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. My daughters loved the boat rides and visiting all the farm animals. Great hosts!

The accommodations were incredibly comfortable and private. The yurt provided ample space for our young family to relax and unwind. The beds were plush and inviting, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as the tea set, lots of seating, lots of water toys, and perfect for family bonding time.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of our hosts. They were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From providing local recommendations to ensuring we had everything we needed, their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference.
We loved that the yurt was on an animal sanctuary. Seeing and hearing all the farm animals was such a fun addition to the experience.
Overall, our yurt experience was a delightful blend of comfort, privacy, and charm. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this enchanting retreat!

This was an amazing little retreat! Was here for 1 night with a long distance friend (we met half way) and this was perfect. Relaxed in the yurt and around the pond, walked around the beautiful property while catching up and looking at the animals. We had very poor weather unfortunately but the yurt was still very cozy, sturdy, dry (lol!), relaxing, and overall charming. Would recommend for any individual wanting some time away or a couple, small group of friends (2-3) or a small family. Was so fun even with half the things we could not normally do (like a fire) due to the rain. Also, host was amazing and super friendly. :)
This place is enchanting!!! We loved our stay at Kinder Way! The yurt is beautiful and grounding, and it is clear that Erika and Mark care about the land and the animals in a very loving way. We will be back!!

Our family had a wonderful stay in the yurt! It was so cozy, but also had plenty of space for the four of us. The site is very private and has a sweet little pond right out front. The mist on the pond in the morning was so beautiful! We also enjoyed an incredible and inspiring tour with Mark. We loved hearing about Mark and Erika’s journey and all the stories about the animals. It’s a truly beautiful place filled with so much love and a lot of soul. And the blueberries are delicious!

This site was absolutely lovely. I stayed with our two young kiddos and they loved the yurt! All the beds were comfortable. The additional deck overlooking the pond has a grill too, which can be convenient for those without camping gear. The site has good shade for the summer and I was surprised of how few mosquitoes we encountered! As for the activities, the animal sanctuary is lovely and provides a great experience for young kiddos. The pond is big enough to kayak, swim and fish. Life vests were also provided. I have already recommended this to friends with kids and will absolutely try to come back!

We had such a great time staying here and would highly recommend it. It's a really beautiful location and it was an incredible experience. We loved being able to pet the animals and hear more about the animal sanctuary. We really loved the goats especially. We loved the yurt that we stayed in and the small lake next to it is really serene. The hosts are super nice and are really doing something special by helping these animals.
Loved everything about our stay here! It's a beautiful private spot that the Yurt sits on, complete with a deck overlooking the pond, kayaks and campfire spot. Our beds were all very comfortable and the wood stove was perfect to take the edge off our early spring visit. There are little extra touches about the yurt to give that comfy rustic feel.
Erika was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure to get to chat a bit with her.
Looking forward to future visits and getting to stay a bit longer.

Wonderful stay at the yurt. Erika was so helpful and her and her husband were amazing hosts! The property is perfect, private and a short walk to visit the animals. We came with our kids for a 2 night stay for the eclipse. We’ll be back (sans kids 😆) so we can enjoy the yurt even more!
The weather wasn't optimal but the place was still beautiful regardless! Erika and Mark are clearly so passionate about what they do and the tour really showed that. We'd love to come back in the summer when it's not muddy!

Very nice hosts and tried to help us make the best of the bad weather. On the tour they explained what they’re gonna do and the story behind the sanctuary. Yurt was very homey and comfortable. We were able to hear the animals in the morning outside the yurt, adding to the peaceful environment. Hope to make it out there again in the summer!

Our weekend in the Yurt was perfect! It was a very private setting, with the fire pit and pond just steps away from each other. Plenty of near by towns and areas to visit, we will definitely be returning!
Mark + Erika show time & time again how kind, selfless, and inspiring human beings can be. Not only did they bring firewood to the site, they also set the wood up in the fire pit in a way that was truly foolproof (I had horrible matches with me and the fire caught like an absolute charm) and that is just a minute portion of their splendor. Their company and conversation is always a delight, but the property itself is just as magnificent. I highly recommend a dip in the spring fed pond — especially in the mornings or in the evening under the stars. Can’t wait to come visit again.

Me and 3 other friends stayed in Erika’s yurt and it was the perfect place for us to stay! The yurt is spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. The spring fed pond was perfect to cool off! We loved it here and will definitely be coming back to say hi to the lovely animals!
Loved our time at Erika’s yurt and her farm animal sanctuary. My boys loved spending time with Cindy Lou, the dwarf dairy cow, and Dave, a friendly goat who’s unfortunately fighting cancer. There’s also a pond w/ two kayaks. It’s the only yurt on the property, so tons of privacy. Have told multiple people about this spot already and definitely want to come back some day.

Erika and Dave’s land is beautiful, peaceful and fun. We loved meeting all of their rescued animals, walking around the property, taking a dip in the spring-fed swimming hole, eating sweet corn right off the stalk, kayaking, and having s’mores by the fire. The perfect place to spend some quality time with family. And Erika and Dave couldn’t have been nicer people. This is a place you won’t want to leave.
We had an excellent experience at Yurt! The owners were so sweet and welcoming. The location is stunning, there was so much to do, and the accommodations were comfortable. Our family can’t wait to come back, see the darling animals, and have another delicious latte. Thank you for the memorable experience!

We were greeted by two of the sweetest people, Mark and Erika. I could immediately tell that they were excited to have guests on their gorgeous property. They gave us a tour, and let us hang out with the animals. It was apparent that these creatures were so very loved, as they really enjoyed human affection. We were encouraged to pick corn and blueberries, which was so relaxing. Mark went out of his way to bring us a delicious maple latte as we were picking blueberries and meeting the chickens. It was a serene place, and we left feeling refreshed and reminded that there are some stellar people in this world. There was so much love put into the yurt. It is near a pond, complete with a few kayaks. The yurt has gorgeous wood floors and spacious bedding options. The beds were comfy, and they were nice enough to leave us water.
We will be back to visit.
We had a lovely time at the paradise yurt! They had already started a fire for us on our arrival and escorted us to the site. There were even blueberries and sweet corn in season to be eaten. The animals were all lovely (especially Lucy the cow). Would 100% recommend this place to any friend and we look forward to returning.
