Beautiful spot, but for the cost some minor improvements would really add to the experience. My older dogs had one hell of a time trying to get in and out of the creek, and there was definitely no fish. The outdoors are for everyone and those with disabilities notice the slightest things that make us feel welcome. Beautiful again, but super expensive for little accommodations. I have mobility problems after several surgeries and had to basically crawl out each time.

We loved Christian’s property. We stayed at #3 and felt safe and private. The river was very refreshing and conveniently located right by camp. Communication was awesome. Will definitely be visiting again!

Site #3 is the perfect little getaway, tucked in the mountainside. The overall location was convenient, but also felt far away. Enjoyed a cooling dip in the creek (a bit muddy, but that’s part of the adventure!), a campfire, and glimpses of the Milky Way at night! Will hopefully return again!

This site was everything we wanted! The river float was amazing in the summer and there was plenty of space for our 24ft RV and 2 tents. Our dogs had a blast exploring and swimming. The host was great with communication and directions Will be coming back every year

We had a great time at this spot, floating the creek, hanging out, and enjoying the fire pit! The neighbors near by were shooting guns on one of the afternoons which freaked out our dogs and despite that being totally out of Christian’s control he was open to either refunding us or trying to help with a solution - he was very responsive throughout the whole stay and everything was a blast :)

Loved it. Incredibly convenient to book a spot to camp rather than drive around, hoping to find a spot. We stayed in campsite #3. It was super private and away from other campsites and in the trees. Went on a great hike up the mountain and also down to the river. Would definitely recommend.

We are regulars and always have a lovely stay! The scenery is lovely, the wildlife is so cool and the hosts are very kind. In the summer months the river is a lot of fun.

Lovely oasis of a camping spot! The sites are very nice and well kept, the stream is so amazing. It was very cold when I was there but couldn't resist jumping in still!

We loved our stay at Christian’s campsite #3. It’s very private and the stars at night were absolutely breathtaking. Watch out for stickers and burrs if you have pets!

Truly loved camping at this site (#2). Christian was very attentive and kept in touch. We had an issue when we arrived not knowing for sure our site but he helped us out immediately. The site is well maintained and clean. Beautiful mountain views and stars at night. Would recommend camping here.

Warning: Please read this before booking with Christian. We wanted to go camping & enjoy a quiet experience & be by the water. I asked Christian what he recommended and he suggested site #2. He told me the site next to us #1 wasn’t reserved but that somebody had reserved a site at #3 on the other side. This wasn’t a problem because they wouldn’t be next to us. We arrive at camp & the people who are supposed to be at site #3 were camped at #1. We spoke with them and they said said that they wanted to be at site #1 because it was by the water & they liked it better. We explained to them that they needed to talk to Christian about it because each site is priced different & they needed to be reserved properly. They had two big dogs that kept running through our site dripping with water, mud, & peeing,& their kids yelling & screaming & running through our site. It was horrible & so we called Christian for help. He acted annoyed at our complaint and then defended the people and said they have been there before. I then told him that we didn’t want to stay there & he got mad & told me to get off his land and that he wasn’t going to refund my money. Then my husband got on the phone with him & he changed his whole tone & begged him to not leave a bad review. He also told my husband that he would only refund our money if he promised to not leave a bad review. He was more concerned about his bad review than our bad experience. I contacted Hipcamp to step in and help because he is awful.

This campsite was so beautiful! It’s nice having the Big G nearby. Our dogs loved swimming in the water. The site was private and well maintained. Christian had great communication and was very accommodating!

This was my second time visiting, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience! Christian is a great host, super responsive, and helped me out when I made a mistake with my booking. Do yourself a favor, and have something to take advantage of the lazy river! I brought a shade canopy with me this time, but the lack of shade is made up for in this very cool opportunity to float!
Thank you, Christian, for another great Fourth of July getaway! I will definitely be back again!

We had a great time! The site was private enough, and the views were outstanding! The directions took us right to the spot. I'd hoped fishing might be more feasible, but the river wasn't really that kind of river. To be clear, no representations were made about it being a fishing spot. I asked Christian, and he said he'd never tried to fish it. The dogs picked up a lot of burs, but that's just being out in natural Utah. Overall, very fun trip!

Amazing area! Very quiet with a symphony of birds and crickets! It felt like I was walking through someone’s campsite when we were trying to find the floating area though. Other than that it’s amazing!

I loved this camp site. There were campsites nearby no one was at them, but even if there was I don’t think it would have felt any less private. It was a little too cold to play in the creek but we want to come back later in the year to swim around.

We enjoyed the campsite. The campfire is set up well. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the backside of the mountain adjacent to the site. You can see and occasionally hear the road traffic - but not excessive. It also means that you could enjoy this spot in a regular 2wd vehicle. Bring a shade pop up and enjoy hanging out doing a whole lot of nothing!

We would absolutely come back to this location.
A few items to note:
1) site #1 is by far the best. Has some grass area and enough room for more than one tent. When we go back we will only go on days site 1 is open.
2) site #3 is not down by the water but is across the road on the hillside and is sand and rock (think desert). We would not recommend staying in site #3 unless you are using for just a quick place to put up a tent.
3) we had our 1.5 year old and he loved the camp. Throwing rocks off the bridge into the creek, floating on our paddleboard in the creek, and running around the peninsula.
