I had such a wonderful stay at the Fairy Tale Cob Cabin! It had everything I needed, plus so many thoughtful touches — like a jug of drinking water, coffee and tea, and chairs already set up by the fire pit. Melissa was incredibly kind, quick to respond, and full of great recommendations. As a female solo traveler, I really appreciated how safe and comfortable she made me feel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Melissa was amazing at communicating from day one. She also shared an orientation video so we could find our way around her space. We came super late at night from a show in Cleveland and she left plenty of lights on for us to find the cabin. It’s a short walk from parking to cabin. The cabin itself was so cute and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable. Just enough space. The bed was outfitted with fresh linens and it was super cozy. I love the bed space. It feels really magical with the glass bottles in the wall and the light peeking through. The electric kettle was a nice touch because I love a hot beverage in the morning. We didn’t stay long enough to really enjoy the space properly but we will certainly be back! There was a fire pit with chairs, the cutest little composting outhouse and another small cabin on the property. We were greeted in the morning by a Black cat who escorted us to our car. She was the cherry on top!! I can’t wait to hopefully come back again some day. Thanks Melissa!!

We loved staying in our cabin! Melissa's property is only about 10 minutes from Blossom. It made for a cozy space to unwind after some music. The fairy lights that are in the woods seem like your stepping into the land where the Hobbits live and is just so enchanting. Would definitely recommend this space. Thank you!

Had a lovely, relaxing stay in a very cute cabin. Melissa is a lovely host and an awesome person, and the property is beautiful! Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting Cuyahoga. I was nestled in a cozy cob cabin in beautiful woods while still being close to everything.

We had a completely magical time at Melissa’s cabin!! She is so warm and welcoming, and that is reflected in the beautiful spaces she’s crafted. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was lovely to feel tucked away in the woods but still be so close to a vibrant town and beautiful hiking trails. Thank you, Melissa!

We stayed in the new bamboo cottage door to some damage to the cedar cabin. It was super cute and comfortable. Melissa left us some fun little extras. The outdoor space was beautiful and private. We enjoyed our time and will be back!!

This was our second time staying with Melissa. As usual, she was an amazingly welcoming and accommodating host! Although the weather didn't want to play nice on the morning we were heading out, we still enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful evening of camping in comfort! We love this place and look forward to visiting again!

Melissa is a fantastically accommodating host and I love staying on her property whenever I get the chance. It was unexpectedly chilly but she set me up with a propane heater and plenty of extra blankets in a brand new space.

We absolutely loved our stay, it was the perfect weekend away from the city. The cabin was more spacious than I expected and very clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and cozy. Our host, Melissa was amazing! She greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the area and offered recommendations of things to do. She even stopped by the next day to make sure we had everything we needed.

We had a great time in Melissa's cabin. She was able to switch our reservation to another building as the one I booked had storm damage. We enjoyed the fire pit and string lights she has set up on a crisp evening along with a visit from one of her cats. Loved the water gallon, kettle, mugs, tea, and chocolates, umbrella in the cabin along with queen bed and futon. In the morning, we went to see her chickens, pigs, and peacocks on the property. There is another tiny cabin being built next door that would be nice for group stays once it is available.
We enjoyed seeing all the unique homes nearby while heading over to CVNP for hikes at Kendall Lake, Salt Run, Brandywine Falls & Gorge. Also nearby tons of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed Seoul Garden.
Perfect for a little getaway. Melissa was very kind and responsive. We appreciated the video she sent to show what to expect before we headed there.

A perfect cozy spot for those spending time in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It was 10-15 minutes away from the trailheads we wanted to visit and from downtown Penisula. The bed was comfortable, and the whole cabin was welcoming and beautiful.

Forest Cedar Cabin~ The Hannalore
I didn't stay in the cedar cabin, it was too cold and the roof was leaking when I scheduled so the wonderful host graciously offered me her much cozier "hobbit" house, which was essentially the same size but warmer.
I have to say it was one if the coolest eco friendly houses I've ever stayed in! Really thoughtful attention to details such as the assymetric construction based on the layout of the slope and hillside. An inspiring example of how human structures can interact organically with, and even be enhanced by the natural world.
All of this is only to say the host is a really welcoming, and vibrant individual and such a wonderful property is surely an extension of their warm artistry.

My husband and I had a great time staying in the cabin! There were a lot of thoughtful touches, and the architecture of the building is very cool. The check-in video was really helpful to navigate our way around. It was a very peaceful trip, especially surrounded by the gorgeous changing trees. Thanks for a great trip!

We had an unforgettable stay at the fairytale and Cobb cabin. It was conveniently located, very cozy and had great amenities! We loved meeting the resident cats and appreciated the fine details in and outside of the cabin including the string lights and glass featured wall where the bed was located. We were grateful for the tea kettle and electricity and were very comfortable in the bed. Melissa is so kind and made sure we had everything we needed! We also had a great time checking out the Virginia Kendall Park ledges which Melissa recommended and would have missed out on otherwise. Thanks so much!

I loved camping out on Melissa's land. Because I'm a dingus I forgot to book the whole weekend we actually had the full experience of staying in both areas. She was super accommodating, and both spots were perfect. Melissa and her ctas were the best hosts ever. She really went above and beyond for us, even telling us some cool hiking spots in Cuyahoga we just got back from. Plus there's cats! What more could you want?

Unfortunately, the cabin i rented was not the cabin I was shown at first. She had another cabin that was small and she called it an upgrade. But she was very nice and allowed me to stay in the cabin I rented. She did have to clean it up a little. I didn't mind that. I did expect the grounds to be kept up. It felt like no one has camp there in years. The amenities like the fire pit that you can cook on had holes on the bottom from rust. The other two fire pit was just unkempt. The biggest issue i had was the distance from the road. All day and all night you can hear cars, trucks and motorcycles. I could see the road. That should have been on the website. I paid very good money for this cabin. And audition there was way too cats for me. At least 4 just around. The entire experience was not worth the money.Where my time. But the host was awesome.

The Cob and Redwood cabin was adorable with super comfy sleeping quarters and electricity where you can turn on the pretty fairy lights Melissa put up! Outhouse was very clean and visiting kitties were super cute. 10/10 would stay again :)

Great spot!! Loved the twinkle lights & the fire pit. Melissa was super accommodating and friendly - great host. Enjoyed hanging outside with the kitties. Very close to Cuyahoga NP and Blossom.

This was probably the cutest place I have ever stayed. I told my kids it was a fairy’s home that we were staying in and they seriously had such a magical night, they loved it.

This is a beautiful little spot. It has two fire pits, haybales, lounging gravity chairs, AND CATS! By far the nicest surprise was the social kitty that kept walking right up by the cabin to get pets.
Even when it was raining we could comfortably sit on the porch.. we stayed dry through a thunderstorm with all the windows open. Very nice.
The host left us a gallon of water and there was an Electric kettle we used to make coffee in the morning.
OH and the ceiling fan in the cabin was a life saver.
