Nice place that was close for us to access the Profile Trail to hike Grandfather Mountain in the snow. Comfortable beds, fireplace, plenty of seating, electric water kettle. Thanks for sharing with us!

Linville Caverns Bunk House

The old gym mine is definitely a great stay tucked back not far from Linville caverns and falls. Very peaceful and quiet a great place to sleep if you're in the area.

Cozy, but congested neighborhood

Friendly hosts, very nice bathroom and we loved the deck and gazebo. However, the plug-in did not work for charging my vehicle, and the location was less private than the photo depicted it to be. We basically camped in a very crowded hilly neighborhood. However, it was a cool and affordable option if you need a place to stay while adventuring in the Boone / Linville area!

Debra's place is located within a very charming community that was extremely quiet with the other residents we encountered being very friendly. We camped in our 18.5' (including vee), 7.5' wide cargo trailer conversion which I would consider about the maximum size tenable for the location; both because of the parking spot and because of how tight the maneuvering is within the community. Debra and her husband greeted us and were very welcoming and kind and provided a thorough walk-through of the site and amenities. The restroom and shower are located a not insignificant walk from the site, think small public campground curation; too far for a middle of the night potty break but were maintained extremely well and were large enough for my entire family to utilize comfortably as we traveled with two small children. The location is very convenient to Boone and Banner Elk where we spent the majority of our time. As described, there was power available in the form of a standard three prong 110 volt outlet, though the extension cord provided was light-duty and not necessarily up to the task of powering our trailer well. I do travel with an adapter and my own heavy-duty 110 volt extension cord but the 50' length wasn't quite long enough to reach the outlet available. A minor consideration since we heat our trailer electrically and it struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature during the quite cold, 19 degree night.

Flat RV Space and Hot Showers

Great place to park and plug in the RV! Within a few minutes Debra messaged us back and we drove right over. She walked us and our dog down to where the showers were located which was a short walk. Showers were great! The shower room was private, secure and had its own toilet. It was also heated which was amazing! Debra was super nice and welcoming! We will definitely stay whenever in the Linville Winery area!

What a cool spot and Location! Beautiful patio fireplace all included you are not out in the middle of nowhere but there is privacy. They were both very nice to talk to. Great location went to the winery went to the state park went to the taproom across the road. Will be back again!

Spur of the moment vacation

The place was a great place to stay especially since this was a spur of the moment plan. They were there waiting for us after dusk since we said we were going on trails before heading to the campground. When we arrived they showed us around and had the fire pit already prepped for us! The bathroom was clean, warm, and hot water especially since the temp was 40s. The wifi was also available from where our car was parked and is accessible from the host. We will be coming back for our next spur of the moment trip. Thank y’all!

Beautiful Fall Colors

We arrived in the evening. Debra did not meet us but checked in by text. The Tiny Cottage was very nice. Clean and cozy. It had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and a very nice shower. We were a big perplexed because it did say a kitchen was available. But there was not. We brought some food to be used in the kitchen. But we just kept until out next stop. It was a nice drive to many places to hike, do waterfalls and enjoy the scenery. The colors were almost peak. Beautiful! We enjoyed the stay.

Lovely little spot! Super convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain attractions. Shower house was super clean and private. Debra was an excellent host! She went out of her way to help us out when we had to arrive after dark and personally showed us around and helped us get parked. We will definitely return to this lovely little community.

Great little spot in a great area, especially if you're like us and traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved the firepit, the deck, and the nearby bathrooms. Felt very private despite being in a neighborhood!

After COVID, ready to go!

The host, Debra, was very accommodating for our stay before grandfathers mountain trip. The place was very comfortable and in an amazing area. There was a full kitchen and comfortable bed.
