This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it was excellent. We booked super last minute but David was super helpful. His property is great — nice and private, with free firewood and a composting toilet. We will be back!

This was the best Hipcamp I’ve been too - a little meadow circled by trees out in the back of a farm. Very private with lots of shade, and some short trails to explore in the morning.

The Dwyer family were incredible hosts! We had an issue with my tire upon arrival and they came to the rescue! Rather than us having to sacrifice a whole day of planned sightseeing, Dana volunteered to drive us to the falls, AND returned to pick us up hours later. While we were out and about, one of their sons was able to fix my tire too! We were so incredibly thankful for their generosity. On our final day there, we got to meet the bunnies they have on the farm as well! We will most definitely return and recommend you visit as well!

This was a nice private spot, picnic table and fire ring were great additions. Easy to unload from car with site (site 2) being right there.

The campsite was incredible and very well maintained! We had lots of space but it was still enclosed and surrounded by trees to provide a bit of privacy. It is separated by the main house by a field so it’s isolated but not too far if you need anything from the main house. There’s also the added bonus of meeting all the farm animals, holding bunnies and seeing lots of fireflies!

David was great! Around 12:30 in the morning we heard hissing near our tent and crunching of branches. Not being from the area we weren’t sure what animal to expect. He answered our call immediately and assured us there were no predatory animals in the area and that it could be a raccoon looking for trash.
The campsite was surrounded by woods and private from the other campers.

We have mixed feelings about this listing. We booked this listing because there were photos & mentions of a farm, farm tour, fresh eggs, and a former bed and breakfast that led us to believe there was an actual farm experience. As a family traveling with a small child, this seemed like a win & we booked 3 nights. Unfortunately, the property is no longer any of these. It's a former farm that is fairly wooded now & the camp site is a clearing in those woods. There are no longer animals on the farm except for some baby bunnies. The barn appears near collapse & there's quite a bit of trash. There were rusty mattress springs mixed in with a pile of debris directly adjacent to our site. The home is a simple single-family home on a busy road. We heard dirt bikes buzzing until dark. For these reasons, we would not recommend the property for families expecting a "farm" & hope that the owner provides a more accurate description moving forward. Additionally, we did not receive the eggs that we reserved as we left after the first night and we did not receive a tour as we learned upon arrival that David was not in town. The firewood that was left on the site for us was large logs we couldn't split & were wet or green and wouldn't light. They seemed charred by others that also didn't get them to light. If you are passing through and need a place to lay your head for a night, Site 1 may meet your needs as it was was fairly level, large, and private although a bit soggy from recent rain.

Decent camping option for the area at an agreeable price point. It's a rather suburban area, not too rural or off the beaten path. The address was easy to find and David was quick to respond to texts/messaging. Had full cell service the whole time and the provided firewood was great!
We visited in late spring/early summer so the area was pretty buggy and a bit wet. Some poison ivy had grown a few feet up on several trees at the site and a single compost toilet served the two available campsites, which filled kinda quickly. Water was available, but only at a spigot attached to the host's house which was a fair walk away from the campsites.
All in all, a solid spot to camp if exploring the area around Niagara Falls.

After all the good reviews I expected better. 2 things ruined this experience for me. 1) There are actually 2 sites under 1 listing. This creates much confusion as the photos are mostly incorrect as they are site 1 and I was given site 2. In addition if you camp in a camper van or trailer site 2 is really bad as you do not park near the site. My camp kitchen is out the back of my car I converted so I was not cooking at my camp site or near the fire. In addition to this sleeping was pretty much impossible as the neighbor had a huge spotlight set on my campsite. I guess they are not happy with the host setting up campsites so this is their protest according the hosts daughters. I left as soon as I could in the morning and went home to catch up on sleep. I do not recommend this location at all and will be working with hip camp for my money back.

A great secluded tent site! Friendly family farm and offered to show many animals to us, the baby bunnies sounded so sweet. Just had to camp and set out early but had a wonderful fire. A great night if a little muddy!

Our stay was great! Great communication with David, easy directions, plenty of firewood to keep warm on a chilly weekend. Him and his family were super generous with their time to show our kids around the farm and even teach them about different breeds of bunnies! We will definitely be booking another stay!

Greatplace! Several private sites, all nice. Firewood aplenty, which was great Very kind and helpful hosts, the whole family chipped in to help. Happened to be there for Fall colors, just amazing. They invited me to explore the property, which I did, very fun!
