Tent Site 6 at Grassy Road Cabins
Peaceful+Clean+River Access
Jonathon and his family have done so much to make their home a comfortable place to camp. We spent a little too much time sightseeing on our way in (Arkansas is beautiful), so we ended up arriving around dusk, we were still greeted, showed to our site, and were able to get settled in quickly. The tent sites are really nice flat gravel pads with a picnic table, fire pit and beautiful views. The new bathhouse is very nice, firewood was available to purchase, and we saw a few exciting upgrades in progress. We decided to take advantage of the nearby public access put ins for the Buffalo River during the solar eclipse. We took 2 cars to shuttle our 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, we did a shorter trip from Spring Creek to Dillard's Ferry, about 4.5 miles, the access to Spring Creek is a long narrow gravel road with steep areas, the access to Dillard's Ferry is nice, drive around under the bridge and use the parking lot at the top of the hill. Next time we will try the South Maumee to Dillard's Ferry (about 9 miles). We had to end our trip a little early due to some unexpected weather, but we are already talking about planning our next trip!

Tent site 4 at Grassy Road Cabins
Great camp site.
Great camp site for trailer or tent. We had both. Bathhouse is brand new. My son loved using the kayak on the pond. And my lab enjoyed a morning swim also. The sky was amazing, star filled. Enjoyed our stay.

Tent Site 8 at Grassy Road Cabins
I loved staying here for the eclipse. It was so peaceful and site 8 is at the end and felt a little more private than the other sites. Had no trouble finding it and the directions were clear!

Tent Site 7 at Grassy Road Cabins
Jonathon’s spot was great! Tent site 7 was more private than some of the other site so highly recommend if you want a bit more space between you and fellow campers. Bathhouse was brand new - the entire area super clean and easy to get to. Jonathon took time before our trip to answer questions and make sure we had what we needed.

Total eclipse camping!!!
We had a great experience. Beautiful land. Bath house is awesome. Toilet,sink and shower on each side. Brand new!! My son loved using the kayaks on the pond and my dog loved going for a swim. The view of the stars was amazing. We got to watch the eclipse and had the best view. Jonathon was very responsive to any and all questions. Able to have firewood delivered to our campsite prior to our arrival. Excellent camp site. Highly recommend giving it a try. We stayed on a tent site as well as RV site with our small trailer.

Solar eclipse stay!
Absolutely beautiful! I have stayed at a lot of campgrounds over the years but this one is truly beautiful. The host is kind and helpful with anything you might need. He was very welcoming from the very beginning. We have already started planning our next visit to this place!
