Historic Stone Cabin 45 w/bathroom
Privacy, rustic cabin
We enjoyed the privacy and rustic atmosphere. Having the bathroom in the cabin was important to us. The host wer nice and helpful. We had to drive to the water because at our age the rocky hill was too much to navigate. It was very pretty there.

Peaceful Cabin Near the River
Snug and sturdy cabin in a beautiful setting just a short walk from the river. The cabin has everything you will need - air conditioner, coffee maker, microwave, boom box and TV. You won’t want to stay in, though, with the trails, fire circle and river so close. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. We 100% recommend this cabin!

What a great stay! A perfect outdoorsy stay but with extra comforts. Set in the woods, but close enough to town for any needs. Hosts were even willing to allow us to use the kayaks and gave us a ride to the entry point for a wonderful trip down the river for a small fee.
River Cabin at Miramichee Falls
Overall, we had a really nice stay. The property is unique and provided a great place to relax with a beautiful view. There were a couple things, however, that didn’t quite match our expectations. First, the lower level of the property is completely separate from the top cabin, connected only by the deck. This made sleeping arrangements with our kids (2 kids under 10) a bit of a challenge. We made it work, but if I knew ahead of time that the property is split between 2 separate buildings I would have found other accommodations. The other issue I had was that the river access wasn’t quite what I expected: the hosts provided ample kayaks and tubes that we could use to float around the river, but the falls were not navigable by kayak or tube. We just had to stay in the shallow area between the dam and falls. The falls were gorgeous and very fun to swim below, but there is a private campground on the side with the falls and I felt a little bit like we were trespassing when we hung out over there. Getting all our stuff over there and back was also tricky—we had to either wade across and walk through the other campsite or carefully climb down the falls.

Historic "Woody" Stone Cabin
Historic Cabin Getaway
This great old rock cabin has stone floors. It's a cool oasis on a hot day with a screen porch and a shady deck. The cabin's kitchen and bath are basic, but clean and serviceable and have everything you need. I would ask for more bath hand towels as well as tea towels for drying dishes, etc. If you are staying more than a day or two. The mattresses are in need of replacement, but you can make so with them. The hosts were very helpful.
