Heart of the Country is our home and also your own personal 12 acre state park whenever you stay with us! We are less than 15 minutes from Interstate 10 and from Interstate 65. Campsite is on a relatively level paved driveway. Power (15 amp and 30 amp) and water is available. WIFI is available up near our house (please ask for password). This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary and a hobby farm with livestock (Donkey, Pony, two Goats, two Ducks and a flock of Chickens. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well. We prefer to host only one camper at a time, but if you are traveling as a small group, we will be happy to accommodate all of you if we can. Texting is our preferred mode of communication. Lovely site not too far away from the highway. Super close to the bay, heard some boats coming in. I loved meeting Dave and Judy and seeing their farm. The property is beautiful and was a super nice stop on my route home. I felt very safe camping as a woman traveling alone.
