We stayed at the premium campsite. It had a good fishing spot right by the river where we caught bass, sun fish, and almost caught a pike! The site was equipped with a nice picnic table, fire pit, camp chair, propane can and metal grate for cooking over the fire. The outhouse is very nice and close to the premium campsite. We were able to relax in the woods and enjoy a weekend with friends. Firewood is easily available for purchase there at the campsite, cut and stacked by the host.
Campsite was amazing! Exactly as advertised. Very serene and pretty spot. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone and everyone.
Overall great stay. You do hear the highway that is nearby. Otherwise, very quiet and secluded.

This was a great place off the grid to spend a night! The site was right on the river, the view was phenomenal. Perfect trees for hammocking and watching the river go by. I was the only one there for the night and it was so peaceful and quiet! If you don’t need many of the comforts associated with state campgrounds, this is a great option for a little more seclusion and quiet! I was able to back my teardrop camper into site 1 and it was perfect! 10/10 recommendation from me, I will definitely be going back!

Really enjoyed the campsite with my lady and dog. We will definitely be back again! Easy to access and right on the water.
I caught 5 catfish from my camp. We loved it !

This place is beautiful! Campsites right on the water. Our kids and dogs had a blast! Richard is an extremely nice host and stayed in touch but also out of our hair.
This spot is conveniently located for someone like me who is just passing through, but it was also the kind of campsite you could spend a couple of days relaxing at. It's a beautiful spot on the river. The campsites are nicely set up and have a fire ring and a picnic table (which to me are the two requirements for a real campsite). Richard was very responsive and helpful. Wish I'd been able to stay longer.
We had a wonderful stay on Richard's Riverbend Camp. The smell of the Cedar was so great and seems to keep the bugs away. It's super easy to get to, but feels like your miles away. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Directions were easy to follow and Richard is incredibly helpful. We can't wait for a return visit when we're able.
