A favourite destination for hikers, climbers and cyclists, the Angus Glens are home to ten ‘Munros’ (mountains over 3,000 feet). Set in rolling hills, close to the serene Loch of Lintrathen, Nethercraig Holiday Park has pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as a handful of glamping options in pods and huts. Around a 25-minute drive east, the small village of Glamis is famed for its Glamis Castle, setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth and a fairytale-like structure of romantic turrets and towers and grand interiors. A five-minute drive north of Glamis Caslte, Drumshademuir Caravan and Camping Park has a selection of glamping pods.
