What are some notable archaeological sites in South Uist?

The west side of South Uist is known for its archaeological finds, including chambered tombs, two mummies, and the ancient roundhouses of Cladh Hallan dating back to the Bronze Age. Further north at Howmore, you can see a collection of thatched cottages and the ruins of a 13th-century chapel.
