We have a family friendly Quiet campsite in the heart of Lancashire on our family run farm. Our site is situated in a species rich meadow field with large mown Pitches surrounded by wild flowers and meandering pathways linking the site together. The member of you're family who book the pitch must be 21 or over. We are surrounded by a young trees &woodland with the back drop of the Pennines. We offer both glamping and traditional non EHU camping on our site, with lovely hot showers, clean toilet facilities, fresh water point, pot wash area, phone charger lockers, communal freezers, elsan disposal point, microwave, coffee/hot chocolate machine, and our little honesty shack with all little camping essentials to might need whilst staying with us. We also hire out picnic benches and fire pits to help enhance your camping experience. We have a lovely little woodland walk, with a meandering mown path, that winds through our woodland/conservation area. Perfect to walk your dog, and let your kids explore. Adjoining the campsite, we have a padock with super frindly sheep that love to say hello. We sell little bags of sheep feed, just incase you'd like to give them a little treat. In the middle of the site, we have a little tots play area, perfect for keeping you're small kids entertained. We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am. Latest check in time is 8PM, unless prearranged with the campsite. Our site has close links to the A6 and m6 J33. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. There is also lots of interesting activities to do locally.

4 nights at Ewe Love Camping Pods

We loved our stay in Tan Pod over the weekend. It was cosy and had exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The amenities were ample and the bed was really comfy. The view was gorgeous and a joy to wake up to. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful. Perfectly situated between Keswick and Penrith with a delicious farm shop 10mins drive away. We would stay here again.

What a gem of a place - beautiful, peaceful and relaxing . Jo was a superb host with thought to every detail from wood to a fully equipped kitchen . The shepherd’s hut was tastefully decorated throughout with an amazing power shower ! The walks around Winster and Crook were fantastic - we walked for seven hours and we only saw three people - a hidden jewel of a place ! We fully recommend ! Not at all difficult to find with Jo’s carefully constructed directions .

We absolutely loved this place! Amazing view, very private and very clean. The pods were really nicely arranged so you don’t feel like you are close to your neighbours. There was coal for the bbq and had a good coffee/tea station. Lovely place, will definitely come back!

4 nights at The Damson Shepherd's Hut

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect, exactly what we were hoping for......just to be able to relax, read and take in the peaceful surroundings. The site was beautiful and the shepherds hut was very well equipped, clean and cosy. Jo was a fantastic host, checking us in supplying umbrellas due to the rain!. She was not in anyway intrusive but available if we needed anything. If you are looking as we were for a break in a secluded area this is the place for you. Although the roads to the site are small and in some cases singal track, we were not put off by this, it added to the seclusion we were looking for. Just sheep for company! Thank you Jo for a lovely stay, we 100% recommend Gilpin Mill's shepherds hut and will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time. Kaye & Michael x

2 nights at Hollow Oak Glamping

We had an amazing stay here for 2 nights with my wife. Before arriving, I realised I made a mistake and booked the wrong date — I was actually one day late. I explained everything to the owner and she was so kind, friendly, and understanding. She told us we could still stay the full 2 nights with no extra cost, which we really appreciated. The place itself was beautiful, very comfortable, and extremely clean. On the second day we visited the farm and honestly it was one of the best parts of the trip — we enjoyed every single minute there. Everything about this stay was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway.

Ste and Emily's yurt was so relaxing for our winter getaway. We absolutely loved the wood burning stove and the hob was just enough for us to cook inside. We also loved that the yurt was located in between the Lakes and the Dales! We were able to get in a hike in on both days we were there! Would highly recommend!
