We are a small, friendly site on a working farm in the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have shepherds huts, bell tents and a land pod in an old sheep paddock, all with private fire pits. We’re surrounded by footpaths and bridleways that can be explored all day, and 10 minutes drive from the sea. We also have a small grass-pitch campsite that opens in the summer for tents and camper vans.

Our camping field is a flat, grass paddock with 6 camping pitches. There are 2 clean portable toilets, a shower shack with hot water and drinking water. We are a working farm so please expect tractors, free range chickens and sheep as neighbours. We are very rural, in the beautiful South Downs National Park surrounded by footpaths and bridleways.

Our quirky Landpod is a fun, insulated sleeping pod that sleeps 2 adults and up to 2 children. On a warm evening you can roll up the side of the Landpod to let the breeze in. One side has a net to prevent the insects coming in. There is a fancy solar panel and electrics system which powers lights and 2 USB sockets. No bedding or cooking equipment is provided in the Landpod, guests must bring their own.

The Sussex Hut has a double bed and a large, pull out sofa bed. There is a small table and chairs inside, and a wood burning stove. The Hut has lights inside and USB charging units. Outside is a private fire pit with a skillet and tripod and a table and chairs.

Our quirky Hampshire Hut sleeps 2 in a secluded corner of the paddock. There is a comfy double bed, table and chairs and wood burning stove inside. Outside, you have your own fire pit with tripod and skillet to cook on (if you’re brave enough) and table and chairs.

Landpod Pod Father
We had the most amazing overnight stay at the Shepherd’s Hut with our three young children and our dog. Laura gave us the warmest welcome - she was so friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely at home right away. The hut itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kids absolutely loved exploring the surroundings, and it was such a safe, peaceful space for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air. Our dog was just as happy - plenty of room for walks and a truly pet-friendly atmosphere. Evening by the firepit under the stars was magical, and waking up to the sound of birds and stunning countryside views was the perfect escape from everyday life. Laura went above and beyond to make our stay special. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

Laura is the best host and the Pod was perfect!! The bed was super comfy, pod was really clean and the showers and toilets 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful night or few away. The little spot is peaceful and secluded just what we wanted !! Two very happy campers 🙂

Hampshire Hut
Lovely weekend at the Hampshire hut at Sindles farm. Had a view of the maize fields, lovely walks on the door step. Stansted House and garden centre a short walk away. Chichester and wittering Beach a short drive away. Laura’s communication was great, so it was easy to find. The bathrooms were super clean too.

We loved the Landpod! A great indoor space with room for a dog & a baby too! The whole experience was wonderful. The site is immaculate & extremely peaceful, the bathrooms were an unexpected luxury. Laura has thought of everything to make your stay memorable!

Sussex Shepherd's Hut
We had a lovely stay in the Sussex Hut! It was a super site with a beautiful view and lots of space. The hut is well equipped, exactly what we needed and super cosy at night with the little log burner. Washing facilities are very clean and modern and lots of hot water! Highly recommend.

Very good place. Location is not hard to find. Laura gave us clear directions and was very friendly during the stay. We stayed in landpod. It was much bigger than I expected (didn’t feel claustrophobic) and it was warm at night. Land is not very big but each camp location is secluded. Really appreciate very clean facilities and hot shower. We enjoyed or stay and will return in a summer.
