Dating back over 150 years, this detached stone cottage (which sleeps 6), is a hidden gem, situated on the edge of a rural village on a quiet lane overlooking fields and countryside. Easy to reach, this is the perfect base for a peaceful break. It is ideally located to explore the beautiful local dogfriendly beaches (10 minutes' drive from the coast (Aberffraw and Rhosneigr) and stunning countryside. Large well equipped kitchen with dining table for 6. Spacious lounge with log burner and french doors that open immediately on to the patio. There is also a utility room with loo on the ground floor and a separate dining or work space. A feature cast iron spiral staircase leads to the bedrooms on the first floor. There are three bedrooms - one large master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite, a second double room (king size bed) and a twin room. Large family bathroom, with walk-in shower and freestanding bath. Private off road parking (two cars) Large safe, dog friendly garden and patio. Maximum occupancy is 6. I am unable to exceed this due to my insurance.Stylish, beautifully furnished detached stone cottage with something handmade in every room! Enter into the stylish but cosy lounge with log burner. To the right is a separate dining or work space. The separate kitchen diner is accessed from the lounge. There is also a small utility room with toilet and washing machine. Upstairs is accessed by a cast iron spiral staircase, there are three bedrooms - one twin room, one king size bed and a master bedroom with king size bed, dual aspect windows and ensuite bathroom. There is also a large family bathroom with freestanding bath. Access is from 1600. Departure by 1000. Changeovers take place on Monday and Friday only (breaks of either 3, 4 or 7 nights). School holidays 7 night only. Ty Cerrig is just over ten minutes drive from beaches at Aberffraw and Rhosneigr (both sandy and dogfriendly all year). Walks on the doorstep. There is a village shop (with post office). The price includes a starter basket of logs, all linen/towels (please bring your own beach towels). Family friendly: - a high chair is available - a travel cost is available; 120 x 60 cm (mattress available, although please see up to date guidance from The Lullaby Trust. You will need to bring your own bedding for the cot) - one folding bed guard (for children). Please note that the property has a spiral staircase and so may not be suitable for young children. Dog friendly: - large enclosed rear garden - 6 dog bowls (indoors) - throws and dog towels to make pooch feel at home. Please let me know that you are bringing a dog and remember to bring your dog’s bed! There is a one off charge for dogs. This is split between cleaning costs and two charities (Dogs 4 Rescue and PAWS Anglesey). The furniture in the lounge is set up around the log burner (rather than the TV). You are welcome to move the furniture to suit your needs, however please return everything to how you found it. Thank you. Off road parking is available on the driveway immediately in front of the garage (two cars). There is no EV charger on-site. Guests must not charge their vehicles from the domestic sockets. There are charging points across the island. The nearest EV points are listed in the guide book, available once your booking is confirmed. Maximum 6 guests.
