This old Catalan blacksmith’s has been transformed by a Dutch family into an organic farm and unique place to stay (camping and gites). It’s a gentle, international commune-like atmosphere where we come together to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
The horse farm is part of the 60-hectare La Fargassa estate, which also includes an organic orchard with various fruit and nut trees. The grounds are home to several animals, including mountain horses, goats, donkeys and dogs. It’s a place where humans, animals and nature coexist in harmony and horseback riding offers an unforgettable experience. Children run freely in the grass, jump from rocks into the river, slide down the waterslide and play adventurous games. The child-friendly campsite provides an unforgettable experience for families, immersed in nature and completely free from Wi-Fi or mobile coverage.
For those wishing to stay overnight, the campsite offers various accommodations: comfortable gîtes, chalets, studios, a yurt or furnished tents that are fully set up in July and August, accommodating families and groups. There is also space for guests to pitch their own tents. The child-friendly environment ensures that kids can play safely, swim in the river or meet the animals while parents enjoy peace and nature. The campsite is open year-round, including all school holidays.
The surrounding area invites adventure: hiking along the famous GR10 trail, swimming in natural river pools or joining organized excursions through the rugged mountain landscape.
