Laid-back, luxury pop-up glamping in the beautiful

countryside close to Salisbury and the New Forest.

A short drive from historic Salisbury and within an hour of Stone Henge, the New Forest, Winchester, stunning Dorset beaches, Poole Harbour, Bath and Longleat Safari Park.

Luxury Bell tents, communal area, swings for kids, firepits, walking and cycling on your doorstep.

Set on top of a hill with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and an abundance of wildlife, Hillview Farm is a small pop-up site with 5 luxury fitted tents. The tents come with a proper double bed and bedding, bed-side tables, carpets, rugs and seating around a firepit as standard. There is also tea and coffee available for guests and a set of 4 plates, cups etc to use. As well as 2 hot showers and 2 composting loos there is a games room and climbing frame for the kids and a large communal table to enjoy a great family meal or evening with friends with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside.

Additional single blow-up beds, BBQs, cool boxes and single bedding can all be hired for an extra cost. Drinks, ice and logs are available to buy.

Pitton is the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas of the New Forest and South Coast with their plethora of activities, but it is also a great place to explore locally. Located directly on several footpaths including the historic Monarchs Way and King Alfred's Way which can be walked or cycled, and a 10-minute walk from the National Trust’s Iron Age Hill Fort of Figsbury Ring where you get spectacular views over Salisbury Plain, Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral.

As well as Salisbury being less than 10 minutes away, there is a shop in the village and the local pub, The Silver Plough offers excellent food.

The site is set up to make the most of the fantastic views and is spread out so that guests can enjoy some space and privacy whilst also having access to a communal area and all the amenities.

Well behaved dogs are allowed (for a small fee) but must be kept on a lead due to the large amount of wildlife.

      Lovely quiet hilltop site with views over surrounding farmland. Plenty of space around each bell tent. Facilities close by and the kids loved the games area with table football. Trudy was available and helpful.

      Lovely field with wonderful view, clean and comfortable tents. Trudy is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great and the cafe that’s a 10 min walk across the field is really good!

      Absolutely loved Hillview camping the yurts were amazing and so comfortable and luxurious. Beds were comfortable and lovely, clean, white bedding. The location is amazing the sunsets and moon rises are incredible. The barn kitchen, compsot toilets and showers make it so user friendly and great for camping with children so safe and quiet. Thank you for an amazing get away look forward to coming back and telling all our friends too come join us too. 😀

      Gorgeous spot, superbly run.

      The setting is gorgeous with nice views and walks around it. The site is superbly organised with great facilities and finishing touches. The owners are extremely chilled but efficient and friendly. The tents themselves are very clean, attractive and comfortable. Good find, we will return.

      Fantastic location and facilities - brilliant accommodating and chilled host. Would love to visit again. Watch the sunset from one side, moonrise from the other with sunrise coming into the tent. Absolute bliss

      I made an exclusive booking for Hillview farm glamping on the weekend of the 17th of September to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was the most wonderful celebration I could have asked for. The location is stunning with beautiful countryside views all around and lovely walks in the area. The glamping tents are decorated very tastefully with such attention to detail which made them incredibly cosy and inviting. The barn provided a lovely rustic communal area, with enough space for all the guests to gather and have a lovely time. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy and included all the necessary items for a comfortable glamping experience. The host made the effort to check the bathroom facilities every day, keeping them well maintained. The most wonderful part of Hillview Farm Glamping was Trudy, our host. She was incredibly approachable and friendly. Her communication was brilliant prior to our arrival, she was always available to answer all our questions so we could prepare everything for our stay; she also went above and beyond to cater to our needs. This was noticed and appreciated by all the guests who felt incredibly at home. Our glamping experience was perfect, I could not fault it at all! The location, facilities, decor and atmosphere were fantastic - I highly recommend it to anyone considering to stay. And a special thank you to Trudy and her partner for being such wonderful hosts.

      Lovely site, just what we were looking, somewhere to relax and chill out. My son made friends on the first day which was a bonus. Lovely fire pit to stay warm and watch the stars at night. Plenty of walking trails nearby to explore. A really nice little site and we will definitely visit again. Trudy was great, very thoughtful and friendly.

      What a great site. The bell tents were fantastic and the beds were super comfy. Located at the top of a hill, it had great views all around and was in a quiet location. We were lucky enough to have some sun on the days were were there and it was great sitting in the sun and relaxing whilst the kids played! Trudy the owner was very friendly and welcoming and showed us around on arrival and told us places locally we could go. We required additional help prior to arrival as we were travelling with my child who requires a safety bed and Trudy was so helpful answering our questions to make sure it would fit our needs. The facilities were brilliant, table football and a pool table to keep the kids amused. There was also a large wooden bench for groups/families to sit round for meals, a coffee or just to chill overlooking a beautiful view of the local countryside. If you wanted to just stick round the tent, then there was a firepit with cool camping chairs to chill in whilst toasting marshmallows. There is also a little kitchen type area with USB charging points and tea/coffee available to make and a sink. It was such a fun stay!

      First time glamping experience with my family and I wasn’t disappointed. The owner very friendly. The facilities were cleaned and kept well. It’s a great family campsite, nice ,quiet and peaceful as there are no large group. Also space for the kids to play . Hopefully we will be able to visit again sometime in the future.

      Loved our one night stay on the opening night of the site (despite the storm). Manages to capture the charm of camping (which we normally do) without the hassle. Comfy beds, great fire pit for cooking, even some games for the kids. Really appreciated the small scale of the operation, great setting, good local walks and of course being able to bring the dog! Will try and get back soon.

      I returned today from a very last minute getaway with my dog for my birthday. Trudy was great from the start, showing me around when I arrived to helping me locate a great walking spot to do with my dog! Nothing was too much for her and she was very friendly and welcoming! Hillview Farm Glamping is the perfect spot to relax and rewind and I’m guessing by the fact the other “glampers” explored all day, a great location for that too! But for us it was perfect to chill in the quiet and have a break away from normal life! Highly recommended! Thank you! :)

      I booked this break very last minute and I’m so glad I did. It was just the perfect place for us to chill out and relax as a family. The bell tent was beautiful and spacious and the bed was very comfy. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and my daughter loved playing with the pool table and table football. It was lovely to relax by the fire in the evening after being out exploring Salisbury and the New forest near buy. Trudy and James were both very helpful and we thank them so much for a wonderful stay.

      This gem of a glamping spot is brand new and an utter dream. Spacious, sturdy tipis with pillowy soft beds & furnishings, fire pits, excellent amenities including hot showers, all facing a gorgeous countryside view & located right near Salisbury, the New Forest, or just the peace & quiet of rolling Wiltshire fields. Trudy was an exceptional host & we couldn't have asked for a lovelier stay.

      The site is a 10-minute drive from the historic city of Salisbury, where visitors can find one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta in Salisbury Cathedral (01722 555120). The Salisbury Museum (01722 332151) houses a fascinating archaeological collection, and various items related to Stonehenge. Speaking of which, Stonehenge is a 25-minute drive from the site, or a longer cycle ride away connected to site via the King Alfred's Way. Monarch's Way provides ramblers with an idyllic walk to explore that's steeped in history and, for kids and animal lovers, Longleat Safari Park (01985 844400) is a 50-minute drive away.
