Wolford Wood, an idyllic, peaceful spot to unwind and immerse in.

Located at the edge of the Cotswolds, Wolford Wood is a peaceful site of natural beauty bordered by its own 150 acres of ancient woodland.

It is the perfect place to refresh, rejuvenate and connect with nature!

Offering camping in wild meadows and unique glamping huts, we have a variety of ways for you to choose how to relax, whether it’s a retreat on your own, fun filled escape to the countryside with friends or a wholesome family get-together, our site boasts facilities that can cater for all!

Our Woodland is of special scientific interest, home to 2,500 different species of flowers, fungi and fauna. The ancient woodland is protected by law and studied throughout the year by professionals and amateurs alike.

Moreton-In-Marsh is the closest surrounding town taking a 5-minute drive or 40-minute walk and offers many pubs, restaurants and cafes, two large supermarkets and a range of boutique shops and services. Transport options include a train station providing access to Oxford, London Paddington, Worcester and Malvern. A selection of hourly buses take you to local Cotswold villages and towns including Stow-On-The-Wold, Bourton-On-The-Water and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Spend the day exploring and immersing in nature via our woodland and wildflower paddocks. The scientific woodland is bursting with bio-diversity where so many species of wildlife can be found. We host various events and activities for all to enjoy. From guided woodland walks, bee keeping, study Moths, Shinrin Yoku, forest bathing, tie dying, and mad clay faces. In addition, a plethora of local attractions include Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop, The Cotswold Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and The Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Our peaceful camping meadow is bordered by our ancient Woods, offering a tranquil site to switch of and relax, surrounded by nature. The meadow is vast, with plenty of space for you to choose your own pitch. Parking is a short walk away and not permitted next to pitches; we have wheelbarrows available to transport your belongings. Camping here is non-electric, there are fire pits, logs and a BBQ for hire. Amenities include a toilet and shower block stocked with toilet roll and hand soap and a kitchen area with sinks, kettle, toaster and fridge. The meadow is mostly unmown, to allow the many species that live here a chance to thrive, as such, we advise guests to bring airbeds, to ensure a comfortable stay. Sorry, no campers, motorhomes, roof tents or pets. It is the perfect place to refresh, rejuvenate and connect with nature!

There are daily flying displays featuring the centre's birds of prey, along with aviaries you can wander around, and plenty of birds occupying the surrounding skies including peregrine falcons, sparrowhawks, and buzzards.
