Book one of our stunning camping pitches. Your own private bay with epic views of the water. Have a bay to your self or share with friends. Perfect for tents or camper-vans. We are exited to be offering camping pitches on Rutland Water. We have a small number of private and secluded bays available, all with stunning views over the water. Enjoy your own little garden paradise on this truly magnificent site. Each camping bay is separated by thick mature hedging meaning that you will have your own private space. These are back to nature, non electric grass pitches but with a difference. Flushing toilets, hot showers and washing up facilities are included. Well behaved dogs considered. Please get in touch if you plan on bringing your dog. Camping pitches are a 2 night minimum stay. Please note that camping pitches are for a maximum of 2 adults. If you are a party of 4 adults you will need to make 2 bookings even if sharing a tent. The Hide at Manton Bay is an adults only retreat and so will only be able to accept guests over 16 years of age. The Hide makes a great base for cycling and walking or to just relax and look over the lake. Keep an eye out for the barn own who flies over most evenings and the Ospreys which nest just a short walk away. A wonderful opportunity to watch the sun go down over the nature reserve and an untouched part of Rutland Water. A beautiful shepherd's hut with private wood-fired hot tub and breathtaking views over Rutland Water. The perfect couples retreat. Book 3 nights or more for discounted rates... Our huts are fully contained with their own en-suite bathroom, heating, hot water and power. Cooking facilities such as a fire-pit, BBQ and hob are provided so you can sit out and enjoy the quiet evenings. An amount of wood is included for the fire-pit and hot tub. Charcoal for the BBQ can be purchased when making your booking. Additional bags of wood can also be purchased. Our shepherd's huts are suitable for 2 adults. Each hut has it’s own outdoor seating area set amongst grape vines with spectacular views of Rutland Water. The huts are heated so they will be warm and cosy even on the coldest of winter nights. Keep an eye out for the barn own who flies over most evenings and the Ospreys which nest just a short walk away. A wonderful opportunity to watch the sun go down over the nature reserve and an untouched part of Rutland Water. Well behaved dogs are welcome in our huts. Stunning Lotus Belle tent with your own private deck and individual garden area complete with BBQ, hammock and picnic bench. Book 3 nights or more nights for discounted rates. Set amongst cider orchards with stunning views of Rutland Water. The tents are beautifully furnished and include a king size bed. All bedding, towels and robes are provided. Our tents are heated so they are warm and cosy even during cooler nights. Your own private bathroom will be just a few steps away. On clear nights you will have the option of uncovering the clear windows so that you can watch the stars. Each tent has it’s own private balcony. This is the perfect place to sit out, relax or sip a cocktail and watch the sunset over the water. There is a private garden area for each tent complete with swing chair, hammock, table and chairs, a fire-pit/bbq and plenty of space to relax. There is power inside the tent for lighting, charging phones and laptops. A kettle, electric heater and a fridge are also included as are tea and coffee making facilities. An amount of wood is included for the fire-pit. Charcoal for the BBQ can be purchased when making your booking. Additional bags of wood can also be purchased. Absolutely loved every minute at the Hide. We stayed at the camp site for two nights. Had our own hedged in area close to the facilities. Hot showers,flushing toilets and washing up area. A beautiful view of the lake and plenty of wildlife. Probably one of the best campsites we've been to, so far. Communication with the host was fantastic. Please be aware that this is an adult only campsite, and some people chose to ignore this rule. Thank you,Natalia and Matthew for an amazing time and we have already told family and friends. We will most definitely be back. 😁

Incredible view from pitches. Secluded and quiet. Good facilities. Idyllic setting among vines & orchards, rabbits and pheasants seen on site. 2 mins walk to the reserve and fantastic day spent watching ospreys. Exceeded expectations
