Eco Campsite with an emphasis on sustainability. Elevated open views over the Shropshire Hills AONB. Red Kites, Buzzards and Kestrels soaring overhead and Sparrow Hawks flashing by. Wild Deer, Pheasants, Rabbits and Hares, all regular visitors to the camp fields. Nature is very close here if you are quiet and watch. We are in a "Dark Skies" zone so star watching is a must. Bring binoculars. ** NEW luxury heated ladies and gents hot showers and modern toilets now open. Large communal wash-up sink with Hot water. Disposal for Elsan chemicals and Grey water. Fresh water and Solar Eco Generated Solar EH points around the field. FREE WiFi covers the site. Shelter POD Free for all to use in bad weather with Phone charging point and reading lights. Free communal fridge/freezer for all campers. We now offer Pre-Booked options of early arrival from 11am on your day of arrival and extended stay on your last day up to 6pm. A small "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Camping with modern touches. Power is generated from Solar-PV and all pitches have access to Hookup should you need it. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views (book hardstanding in wet weather) All Weather 365 Hardstanding pitches. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability) Approved Fire-Pits, available for hire may be used at the pitch. Check-in is between 3pm and 7.30pm unless early arrival is pre-booked. If you are late please telephone reception. Fo your security a time locked access gate operates after 7.30pm. Pass code provided after check-in for 24/7 access.

We loved this site for a family of four. Not overcrowded, clean and modern facilities, incredible view, and friendly hosts. My girls enjoyed use of the hut for getting some shade from the sun and charging their phones!!

Our first time camping as a family, which was all very ad hoc because we had bought a 2nd hand textbox classic on the same day and were looking where to try it out on the way back to mid Wales. Gorgeous views, and James was so lovely and approachable and we felt very welcome. He even spent time after we left searching for our daughter's lost gingerbread man toy (which has only just turned up safely at home!). The views over the plains and hills were astonishing and the toilets on site really clean and nice to use. Lots of lovely places to walk nearby as well. Thank you James for making our 1st camping so great!

Loved my stay - the view is incredible and worth it for that alone. It was a last minute booking to make the most of the sun but I’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay. It’s a small field with pitches around the perimeter, and as a solo camper I felt extremely safe. James was lovely too!

Amazing site, clear night skys on our stay so could see all the stars, evening fireworks over Shrewsbury. Amazing friendly hosts, took time to spend around the site soeaking with guest. Definitely go back, cannot fault it.

What a pleasurable and pleasant place to spend a couple of nights. Linda and Malcom are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The site is a small field on the top of a hill with some stunning views. Lovely historical area with some lovely walks local and lots to do without driving to far. Eco friendly site which is off grid. Power provided by solar, water from a well, toilets all cleaned through a reed system. Very impressive set up indeed (just be aware that this means watching how much power you use and how much water you use as once it's gone it's gone). Central fire pit or hire your own. Lots of added extras available to make your stay more comfortable. Facilities are OK but nothing outstanding. However they are having showers added which I'm sure will be lovely. Hosts were awesome and couldn't help us enough. Also more then happy to mix with the campers and give out advice. Very busy Saturday night with all 20 pitches full. But we had the place to ourselves for Sunday night which was a real treat and were told no rush to leave on the Monday. Very nice indeed Thank you Linda and Malcom. We will definitely see you again Kerry and Steve

Lovely family vibe quiet spot

We loved camping here with Linda and her Husband it was such a beautiful totally peaceful quiet spot with lovely views, really well kept communal areas and loos always felt super clean and unobtrusive to the natural surroundings. Also had cozy lighting around the fire pit at night it was perfect for us and our wee dog. The hosts were beyond lovely and so friendly we felt so welcomed, everything was super clear in the instructions how to arrive and set up, would 100% book again and recommend.

Just an overnight stay in a single tent pitch, but this is a wonderfully peaceful campsite with fantastic views. A very friendly welcome, and excellent ecological credentials. Will definitely be back for a longer visit!

Stayed here for 1 night. Super clean simple and quiet small rural site. Nicely tucked away between Bridgenorth and Shrewsbury. Great views. Would definitely stay again.

I loved my stay here. Linda and Malcom were so kind and amazing hosts. Made me a hot chocolate and made sure I had everything I needed. Very kind people and I cannot wait to stay here again in the future, I highly recommend this campsite. Surrounded by the lovely Shropshire hills, lovely and quiet and a peaceful area.
