Handcrafted, eco-conscious stays in harmony with nature. Tucked away in a secluded pocket of countryside, Nordic Glamping offers an off-grid retreat designed for those who seek peace, privacy and a gentler pace of life. Our four beautifully handcrafted yurts sit within five acres of unspoilt organic hay meadow—surrounded by ancient woodland, thick hedgerows, a bubbling stream, a weather-led newt pond and charming little bridges. There is a lot to explore! This untouched, undulating landscape is home to thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly facilities: soft composting toilets, hot showers, fresh running water, and a covered kitchen and dining area. Shaded spaces for gathering or unwinding allow you to connect with nature in comfort. Each yurt is carefully dressed with organic cotton or linen bedding atop handcrafted wooden beds—combining rustic charm with deep rest and relaxation. Everything here is off-grid and in rhythm with the land… although a reliable 4G signal is on hand for those absolutely necessary connections ;-) Nordic Glamping shares Botswicky Copse with award-winning organic farmer Helen Browning. Together, we’re committed to working with the land—not against it—ensuring its vitality for generations to come. We’re proud members of the Greener Camping Club, which helps support more sustainable, low-impact camping in the UK. To stay with us, we kindly ask that one person per booking is, or becomes, a member. A seasonal membership is just £12 and supports our shared vision of responsible travel and eco-conscious living. Nordic Glamping - Ash

(5)
Yurt · Sleeps 4
Ash yurt sits under a large Ash tree in the western edge of the glamping site, close to all amenities and is our pet friendly yurt. Ideal for families with four legged friends. The Ridgeway can be viewed to the south and offers endless walking and hiking possibilities. The Uffington White Horse and several other ancient and National Trust sites and monuments can be reached with a brisk hike or gentle stroll. Our Partners - Helen Browning's Organic and their award winning pub, The Royal Oak, is a 20 minute walk away, across fields and over chalk streams. There is a also a shop on the same site which can provide hampers for our guests. The pub serves delicious food from it's outdoor kitchen and caters for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. The food is sourced from Helen's award-winning organic farm. Ash has a gorgeous, hand-crafted king sized bed and two single futons that can be set up as seating or beds. A wood-burning stove with wood supplies for your first evening are included and solar lights and a charging station for your devices. There are deck chairs and hay-bales outside for seating around the fire-pit. The glamping site has two composting toilets, a shower block with hot water provided by gas-powered showers. There is a covered kitchen area with stainless steel cooking areas, gas hobs, washing up facilities and lots of useful equipment. The whole site at Botswicky Copse is a total of 10 acres; the glamping site occupies the back part of the site and the yurts and facilities are very well spaced apart for optimum enjoyment and to really get back to nature. As we are off-grid don't expect electrical hook-ups or wifi, however the 4G is pretty decent so phone calls, texts and data works well onsite if needed. Remember to to add your Greener Camping Club membership for one person per booking if you are not already a member. This costs £12 and covers you for a whole season of access across all of the Green camping sites across England and Wales. There is an option to add this when you book. Welcome to Botswicky!
