Great campsite with a great views! And fab walks on the South Downs very close.
I have never left a review on a campsite before because most of them are decent but nothing to write home about. The portaloos were so clean and didn't smell! The host came and cleaned them at least once a day from what I noticed. The view was so much better than the photos really gave justice too. The people we're also super friendly, all I have to say was this place is really worth the visit. The only downside was due to the super hot weather we have had over the last month we couldnt have a campfire but no one has any control over that. I will definitely come back here again and if you haven't.. you should!
Lovely site on a small valley with great views. May want to arrive early if you are a larger party / have larger tents as the higher you go up the valley the harder it is to find a flat pitch for your tent. The views from the top are amazing though
Me and my family loved our two day camping trip here. Absolutely gorgeous settings and really friendly vibe! The toilets were very clean too . The host was really friendly and good to talk to as well . Overall it was a very good experience and we expect to be camping here again soon.
It was our first camping trip and we had an excellent experience. The campsite wasn’t too busy, which was exactly what we were looking for. There were a few portable toilets and a shower block around the site, so everything you really need. There’s also a café if you don’t fancy cooking or come unprepared.
We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back to the South Downs. Thank you!

Camping here is a very nice experience. You are on a large field, tents far apart. The views are beautiful. There are several toilets and sinks to get water and wash. These are all clean. We also loved the shower, which is a family shower room with two showers and lots of space. This is real camping!

There’s a lot of great things about this campsite, but there a couple of things that weren’t as good as we had expected…
The description states it’s a quiet site with no music/noise after 10:30pm. On one of the nights we stayed, there was a group of around 6 guys, who ignored these rules, and completely ruined what would otherwise have been an enjoyable evening, with music and obnoxious behaviour until the early hours. I feel an evening check by the host when it’s busy would go some way to deter this kind of behaviour (we arrived around 6pm, and we didn’t see anyone from the site until the following afternoon).
The site is in a valley, and although there is a large area of flat ground at the bottom, when busy, the upper pitches are very sloped.
There are definitely some positives - the valley/views and nature are beautiful, and there are some great places to visit in the area.
The ‘no cars at the pitch’ but being able to drive up to the pitch and drop stuff off is really good, and there are plenty of portaloos dotted around, which is convenient
What a great spot - took my son and his friends camping for a night, they played ball games, we had water guns - they got soaked and great way to cool down, had bbq and bonfire. Toilets and sinks near by as well, perfect! We had a big breakfast at the cafe in the morning, good to have availability of milk, water, bread or ice. Great time for the boys in the nature while leaving all the tech at home.
Loved this camp: as a solo female traveller on foot, it was great and felt very safe. Tania who runs the camp is lovely and super friendly! The camp itself is huge, and there is a lot of space! Perfect introvert’s paradise.
Access: while it is remote, the 99 bus is very convenient: just check the timetable. Buses run to Chichester and to Petworth. So easy to go and get stuff like groceries.
The Cadence Cafe next door is fabulous: coffee is delicious, food is lovely, and the staff super friendly! Special thanks to Sarah from the cafe who is absolutely wonderful and helpful!
Lots of hikes nearby- and the camp is quiet! Woods near by to get woods. Fire allowed. I had the most wonderful 3 nights!

Beautiful Camping Experience in Nat
I loved the location and that their is loads of space to pitch your tent. It is really emmersed in nature, you wake up to the birds chirping and pheasants. I love that you can have a campfire and that they even supply the wood logs to you att a cost!
The evening sky was beautiful and the grass is lushes and green.
There are porta loos and sinks spaced out around the camping area with drinkable water but the showers are right near the car park, which is a bit of walk.
It rained when I was there but it didn't ruin my experience, it was quite nice being in my tent hearing the rain outside.
The cars are parked in the car park, once you have unloaded and set up.
I would definitely recommend Tania's place to stay.

Beautiful location, pitches so spread out. Clean toilet facilities and just the perfect spot for our children’s first camping experience.
Peaceful open field campsite nestled in a beautiful grassy valley. The lower half is reasonably flat, suiting multi-tent set ups and enjoying the summer sun later into the evening. The top half is steeper, but with small flatish plateaus here and there for individual tents. In the evening the sun disappears earlier on the upper slopes. However, the view down the valley and across to the fields and woodland opposite is fantastic, particularly as it changes colour with the setting sun. Immaculate portaloos are placed along the edge of the field, but if you stay on the steeper top section of the site, you’ll have a bit of a trek to get to one. There is a family shower room way down at the campsite entrance, which looks clean enough, but we didn’t use it so can’t comment on the hot water situation.
The site allows open fires directly on the ground and the owners come around between 5pm and 6pm with firewood for £10, which we bought, but supplemented with our own to see us through the evening.
The only negative was the group who played music until after 10.30pm despite this being a “no music” campsite. Nevertheless it was an overall peaceful place to spend the night and worth an overnight visit in good weather.

Fantastic location!
Never visited the South Downs before but it turns out it's a really beautiful part of the UK.
Littleton farm was a great choice and our pitch had incredible views over the valley. My son absolutely loved our camp fires each evening as well.
The only (little) issues were the toilets and the shower. I'm a bit finicky about hygiene facilities and have a pet hate of porta-loos. I have to psychologically prepare myself to use them - they were actually much cleaner than I expected. The shower was fine, and although there was only one room (with two showers), we managed to time it just right both mornings.
Despite the porta-loos we would definitely recommend this site and will definitely return 👌 👍

A lovely location with plenty of space with super easy access to plenty of nearby walks.
Loads of space in the valley to choose where to pitch your tent, toilets and sinks were well kept, everything was perfect.

We loved camping here, lovely big open field with a wild feel and beautiful stars, lots of friendly people and nice facilities, host was very kind and offers a service for fire logs, would definitely recommend
Great off the beaten track camping, except the South Downs Way goes right past. Set in a hidden valley with the bare minimum facilities with campfires twinkling up the field it felt like I was in a Red Indian campsite.

Lovely field with easy access to water and loos!
Couldn’t recommend more if you’re looking for a quiet site, hidden away from the road too. Really good coffee van at the entrance to the site as well. Also really good site if you’re hiking the South Downs Way.
Stunning views in the valley with lots of space to spread out and feels very private. Lush green grass, easy check in - just follow the signs. Great access to The South Downs Way. Facilities are simple with lovely hot showers.
Don’t forget to go to the cafe for delicious iced tea and icecream. Highly recommend, we’ll be visiting again.
