Luxury camping and glamping pitches within a wildflower meadow. Private loo per pitch, fire pit with BBQ Grill & a picnic bench. Our North Essex hideaway is perfect for a country retreat under the stars. Just over an hour away from London, located in a rural setting outside the chocolate box village of Finchingfield with tea rooms and three great independent pubs. We are a micro Lavender farm home to 3.5 kms of hand planted Lavandula × intermedia 'Lavender Grosso'. Our campers and glampers have unlimited access to our lavender field which overlooks rolling fields and sunset views, perfect for a relaxing evening amongst the purple blooms

Lovely time camping, the space is beautiful and Julia could not have been more accommodating. The kids enjoyed feeding the chickens, and the site is well later out to give each pitch plenty of space. We look forward to visiting again some day.

Wonderful campsite - we loved the wild flowers everywhere and the setting is very peaceful. Having your own compost loo is also very handy! Julia was a great host. We are definitely planning to go back.

Lovely area and great pitches! All amenities are well maintained a cleaned. Julia and her husband, as well the other people working on site are glad to help for anything and make you fell welcome. Great morning activity with kids is feeding the chickens and ducks where from you can buy the fresh eggs. Our pitch was Foxglove; big area with fire and bbq possibilities and composting toilet like any other pitch out there. Far enough from the other camping pitches to be extremely comfortable and a nice plus for this pitch, it had a beautiful sunset view. If we’re in the region again, we’ll be back! 😊

Such a beautiful campsite - we have been looking for something like this for a long time. Full of beautiful little discoveries, communal areas, our own area (picnic table and compost loo) - all filled with lavender and wildflowers. If you are looking for THAT lovely off grid campsite, this is for you.
