We can only recommend this sweet little camp site in the middle of the orchard. We stayed in a bell tent for the weekend with our 7 year old son. The tent is cosy with a lovely wood burner.
There is a communal hut kitchen with all ustensiles and board games!
We enjoyed all the fire-pit and the honesty box to buy wood logs etc.

Me and my partner loved spending a couple of nights at Fen End Farm. Our bell tent was lovely, toilets and showers were clean, kitchen space was well equipped and the farm and orchard were beautiful. Vicky and Amy were kind and helpful and the camp had a very peaceful atmosphere. Efficient self service logs and kindling and easy to buy local produce such as lollies made from apple juice from the orchard. Try the Fen End cider it’s delicious!!

Great small campsite. Nice facilities and picturesque surroundings. Hosts were friendly and kept communal areas very clean. Cider was excellent and made from apples you sit under.

This is a wonderful campsite and glamming option. The owners were kind and thoughtful. I loved the attention to detail for example the lovely little lamps in our yurt, the seating outside the yurt, the artwork in the toilets and washroom.
The tent pitches and glamming options are peacefully tucked away in the apple trees. It's so cosy. The yurt was really spacious and the bed very comfortable. We were really impressed with Fen End Farm and would happily return.

We had a lovely time at the Farm. The tent was lovely, well equipped kitchen, clean toilets and showers. We had a good explore and the lovely gentleman talked about his plane to my son and even let him go in it!
Very responsive to messages, good parking, easy to find. Lovely apple juice and apple ice lollies.
My only comments would be - the mattress for the floor was probably only suitable for a child (my child was determined to sleep in the bed 🤣) so it wasn’t too comfy.
There was also quite a large group booking when we stayed who set up camp infront of our tent for the duration which meant we couldn’t fully relax but that’s no fault of the owners.
Thanks - we will be back!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The Cuckoo Bell Tent is located in a private corner of the orchard so we really felt like we could unwind without being disturbed. The tent itself was large and clean and the double bed was comfy. We loved the ‘Apple Hut’ where we could find all the cooking utensils, pots, pans and plates that we needed, plus storage for food, 3 fridges, a kettle, toaster and of course hot and cold water. It made our stay even more relaxing as it meant we did not need to bring or store all these things in our tent. It was also a great place to meet other campers.
Our host was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. A lovely farm in a beautiful part of the country. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting in amongst the apple trees - means you don't have line of sight to lots of other campers, so feels quite secluded. Great facilities and love the eco-conscious vibe.

Absolutely fantastic site, we will definitely be visiting again.
We stayed in the yurt and it was a magical experience for a family of 5.
The whole campsite is managed beautifully and the fact that it is economic friendly is a huge bonus.
From composting loos (that don't smell at all!), to showers made from recycled materials (including willow towel hooks) every touch at Fen End Farm has been lovingly thought out. I honestly can say it is the best campsite we have ever stayed at. Thank you for a wonderful experience Vicky & Amy!

The pitches are set amongst an apple orchard. Once again, we were the only campers and had sole use of all facilities. Made to feel very welcome, showers were fabulous and the hut where washing up and fridge / freezer available was great. Heard lots of birds and wildlife and would happily stay here again

Well, this is now my favourite camp site in England.
We took out own tent, although their tipis and yurts also looked amazing, and in our little pitch between the apple trees we were in a world of our own beneath the stars. Magical. Each pitch is really it's own little world, totally private and secluded and when it's get dark you are all alone with just your tent and your fire.
The eco-credentials of the farm appear imprecable. The sausages and burgers were tasty and the apple juice was fantastic. The composting toilets are clean and practical as is the kitchen space and washing up areas. Not parking next to your tent is part of what helps create the atmosphere, but the trollies provided make moving your gear easy, even if you over pack like us. The village of Cottenham is just minutes away though and has all the shops you need and a decent chippie, so civilisation is never that far away.
All in all this is pretty much the perfect pitch.

Just got home from a 2 night stay at Fen Edge Farm and found it outstanding, even my non-camping partner loved it. This is a family friendly site with wonderful facilities to help enhance your camping experience.
We chose to camp but the site offers a variety of glamping options, each pitch has it's own fire pit and you can purchase wood for this onsite at a very reasonable cost. There is one very nice shower shack with compost toilet and sink, 2 seperate compost toilets and a hay bale urinal, a communal kitchen where you can find everything you need from pots and pans to utensils and cutlery, there is also some very tasty homemade apple juice and ice lollies you can purchase from the kitchen.
The farm offers some beautiful walking opportunities but beware it hosts it's own private runway so very occasionally the field gets fenced off for safety reasons but this is certainly not a problem, it was wonderful watching the aircraft taking off.
The owners are helpful and friendly and so are the free roaming chickens who liked to come and say hello. A truly wonderful first camping experience for my son, we will gladly return.

The Orchard at Fen End Farm is a truly magical place to stay, whether in your own tent or one of the permanent fixtures. We arrived and were greeted by Amy who showed us around and led us through the heavily laden apple trees to our 'pitch' complete with fire pit dug out of the ground ready for our camp fire later. We enjoyed wheeling our camping equipment from the car by wheelbarrow and then set up our little home for the few days with a delicious glass of chilled apple juice from the farm which is on sale in the 'Apple Hut', a well equipped kitchen/dining space with plenty of equipment, crockery, cutlery to borrow and two fridges, kettle and toaster to use. The facilities here are second to none and the 'bathroom' is superb with shower, sink and compost toilet, they also supply travel bottles of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner as you must only use biodegradable products here. The farm is completely organic and all the fixtures and fittings are recycled or reused which is brilliant. We loved the peaceful and pretty orchard and had to force ourselves to leave each day to go exploring nearby Cambridge and Ely! Coming back each evening was a delight though and we cannot recommend The Orchard highly enough if you want a little bit of heaven thanks to the lovely family who own the farm and their free range chickens as your friendly neighbours!

We stayed at Fen End Farm for a birthday celebration with
family and friends. The site is well laid out and accommodated our campervans
and tents. The less adventurous campers stayed in the farm’s tipi. Each pitch
has its own fire pit dug out and there was a larger fire pit for us to use as a
group. The pitches are well spaced and would ensure some privacy if you were
camping alone.The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. The
owners are environmentally conscious and asked that only biodegradable shampoos and soaps
were used; they had some available for sale. The owners were very attentive to checking
the composing toilet – we stayed as a large group and the cleanliness could not
have been better.
Our parents stayed in the tipi, had a great night’s sleep
and were very comfortable. They loved it, despite never wanting to come camping
with us before. They were tickled to be glamping and are up for doing so again!
Having the wood hut and log burner meant that our hot water bottles were easily
filled up before the chilly night. The hut was a great place to sit, eat, play
and just hang out. It is a real bonus to have on the site – particularly if you
are unsure whether you’ll be warm enough and it allows you the option to eat
around a dinner table if the weather doesn’t look great.
The farm itself is beautiful and a great place to walk
around. Friends enjoyed the farm's produce. The grass airfield provided entertainment when planes were heading out
or returning. It is a short walk to the village and we went to the small supermarket,
pubs and restaurants over the weekend.
This review is unacceptably overdue. We stayed at Fen End
Farm in May 2015 and cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you for having
us.

We only stayed one night, having planned a couple of days in Cambridge. The campsite is especially handy for Cambridge if you are parking at the Milton park and ride. It is also perfectly flat , as you would expect in Cambridgeshire. We had a very friendly welcome and were very pleased with the pricing, which was perhaps reduced as the shower hadn't been fitted yet (they warned us of this). The cabin, with games to borrow , a stove , and sink and kettle, was very comfortable and handy for an evening's entertainment. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. Thank you

Stayed just the one night at this campsite, I have to say that it was well organised and It suited my needs to T. The site was in a great location within an orchard and boasted a cabin to socialise in with a log burining stove... Which i though was a great touch. Owners were friendly and accomodating. As it was on a farm, it was great fussing the horses. Recomended.

My fiancé and I spen Eastr weekend 2015 at Fen End Farm and were really happy with our short break. From the friendly welcome we felt at home. The set up is fairly basic, with a composting loo, no shower as yet, but hot water in both the bathroom hut and the Apple Hut for washing up etc. However, we knew about the shower and we were fine to go without for a few days! What is really well set up is the fact that there was soap, toilet roll, washing up liquid etc available - we always forget simething, and it was brilliant to have supplies on hand. We loved walking around the farm spotting hares, deer, the barn owl and so on, and also the farm animals. In the evenings we spotted bats as well. We bought some wonderful mince from the farm to make a big pot of chilli, and it was so good we picked up a meat box when we left as well. All in all, we felt very welcome, we had a lovely time, and we plan to come back!
