Nice but needs to be more practical
Overall this is a nice place. It’s still quite new so all in good condition etc. but perhaps also still settling in and learning as people visit. There were just a few things that missed the mark. The accommodation is very cramped - one adult and two children (9 & 12) - and we were falling over each other. Yet the bathroom is enormous with loads of wasted space. We did stay in the autumn, so maybe when the weather is warmer and you can be outside more it feels less crowded. The beds are really not comfortable, even for the kids, and there was no shower, just a huge bath - which seems really odd given the hot tub!
Small practical things would go a really long way - like hooks to hang things from to dry, again given the hot tub - it’s reasonable to expect there would be some hooks or whatever for towels & wet swimwear etc. but there weren’t. And a few more items in the kitchen would also help. There was literally one of everything for 3 people. In the description it says things like ‘milk provided’ - which is technically true, but they were tiny sachets to go in coffee, not milk you could use for cereal or anything. Just one example of things that I found a bit misleading.
All that being said, there were some nice touches like a few treats left out - small cakes, small bottles of prosecco… but to be honest I’d rather have the practical stuff!
