Great spot, a bit slopey but that's like wild camping! Excellent compost toilet facilities. The stream is difficult to get to for water (needs treating), and very slow running, but I did manage. If I go again I will take my own water. Slept really well 😴

This site is amazing for the feeling of wild camping. The views are awesome and it was so peaceful and quiet throughout the day and night. It is under a flight path but the planes didn't bother us at all. The directions were spot on and Dane very responsive. The walk up hill to the site is just over a mile and was difficult carrying the kit but so worth it! The composting toilet was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and can't wait to come again.

Tranquil spot, very peaceful, gorgeous views. Lots of space, fire pit available. Decent walk to the spot but Dane carried up our fuel for the fire in his quad and we just took our time with the rest of our gear. Would go again

We had 2 nights here as a family of 4 and would defo recommend. A very clean toilet with a sink to wash. A gorgeous field with lots of space and very peaceful. We took quite a large set up so the hike upto the camp was quite long but it hasn’t put us off and we’ll defo be back. Thank you dale for a wonderful experience

Really hard to get to but a beautiful view from the campsite so would recommend but would say it’s more of a 30 min hike then 15-20

It's a great site with amazing views we had a pink sky the first night, south head which is a 15 minute walk from the camp entrance is an amazing sunset and sunrise location (you can't miss it look for the massive hill). me and my partner loved it the toilet is good comes with a sink and some dove soap. The camp site has signal and you can get 4G signal for those who like to post their day of hiking.
The host was awesome and offered to help us with our gear as I had come straight after a 12 hour shift, we will be be coming back again as the location is a stunner.

Just come back from the nicest camping trip we’ve ever had, the location is so peaceful and secluded but not in the middle of nowhere, the views are exceptional, Dane is lovely and so helpful too! Directions we found confusing as they state left at the cross roads but it was actually off to the right! The hike up to pitch was phenomenal (minus the luggage in the heat!) added points for being under the flight path for arrivals at Manchester, a lovely surprise as a fellow plan lover 😍 overall we’ve had an incredible time and will definitely be returning in the future!

this is wild camping. However, there is a very clean toilet on site.there is a little stream to collect water, but it does need filtering.i stayed for a few days but apart from a couple who set up far enough away i couldn't hear anything I never saw another person.i will definitely go back.if you want solitude this is a good place.

Great spot! About a 20/30 min walk up the hill with out stuff but the view is so worth it! Wish we had stayed longer, we would definitely go back!

Great location bit of a trek if you have heavy gear really peaceful and quite until a very load group turned up late on very loud till at least 2.30 am not really that sort of campsite otherwise all good
