Paisano Azul Ranch - "El Groupo"
Great big group site! No shade.
This was an awesome campsite with a beautiful view! Love that the tent spots are marked out and the cactus often marked with rocks. It was HOT in early April, almost slept outside. Unfortunately The shade cloth was not attached at the campsite and the instructions for WiFi access were dated and we couldn’t access it, even from the showers. Unfortunately the host wasn’t able to respond with updated instructions in time. Overall, a fantastic pit stop with nice amenities! Shade and internet were important amenities we would have also liked in the cost of the campsite.

Site 8 The Oasis at PAR
Clean, convenient
Camp area was clean and functional. Many, relatively clean Porta toilets.
Only criticism would be to provide a little more instruction for arrival. Maybe I missed it, but basically it seemed to be: show up and pick a spot despite choosing a numbered spot… which was fine but I suspect others may be confused by this.
Nothing fancy but for an affordable camping spot, very convenient to the park, I’d definitely stay again.
Site 7 - "The Oasis" at Paisano Azul Ranch
This is the best campsite in Terlngua outside of Big Bend National Park. Stay in the park, if you can. Jason was friendly and accommodating, but Terlingua is dusty and windy!

Great spot!
We stayed at the site with the wall. Great site! Private. Beautiful sunsets! Close access to national park. Great little store for supplies close by. Would stay again.

Site 6 - "The Oasis" at Paisano Azul Ranch
Easy self-serve kind of situation with nice views and conveniently located to Terlingua and Big Bend NP. Porta potties were nice and clean. Would recommend!

Paisano Azul Ranch - "El Groupo"
Disappointed and cost too much.
Well, to start, I will list some positive things. The night sky was beautiful, and the El Groupo campsite gave us lots of privacy.. In the evening, the mountains surrounding the campsite were beautiful when the setting sun lit them up.
Now, for the not so positive. It’s very dry and exposed at this campsite The large shade cloth that was supposed to be up according to the website was thrashing around in the wind. The host who told us his name was Captain Ron took the shade cloth down, and it was never put back up again. Probably the worst part was the outhouse. It had not been cleaned or emptied in I don’t know how long. It was really full and very disgusting. The outdoor showers would’ve been OK except that they flooded and it meant standing in other peoples dirty shower water. We stayed there three nights because there wasn’t anything else available. It cost $271. Given the condition of the campsite, we felt we got a bad deal. We will never stay there again, and we will not recommend it to anyone.
