Hawks Bluff Farm RV 2
As others have said, animals and creek were the highlights. Nice property, friendly hosts, easy access to sites. Pretty stars and sunrise over the field. Toilets and shower were not great but adequate. Overall, would go back and recommend.

A true gem
What a gem! We came because of the farm animals, springfed creek and stocked pond but were absolutely blown away by the rock hunting opportunities on Elizabeth's land! It was a fantastic trip, and we loved that it was a quick 1 hour trip from St Louis. Was awesome to only drive an hour yet be in a totally quiet, serene, country setting. Elizabeth was so accommodating. She had a composting toilet installed right next to our site on day 2 so we didnt have to walk as far to the existing ones!
I fed friendly, gorgeous horses every day, my husband and kids fished the pond, we tromped through the woods looking for sparkling rocks and treasures, and we even cold plunged into the super clear creek. It was just awesome. We will definitely be back.

Very nice place. Parked the camper for a few days. Good hostess. Didn't spend much time there. Too cold for us Floridians but Elizabeth was very accommodating.

Awesome place!
Elizabeth’s was great. I wish the weather would have cooperated, as the pond had just been stocked and was close to the campsite. My son and I along with our dogs had the tent site. It had everything we needed and our host were quick to bring out a space heater and extra blankets when it got cold and rainy. The directions were great. The site was great and the hosts were awesome. We definitely want to stay again.

Great secluded camping spot!
The weather was not perfect but everything else surely was. It's a really nice very private spot to be able to get away from it all. We set up right next to the pasture. A short 4x4 drive through the woods to the creek is absolutely recommended to hike and hunt for rocks. It was petty awesome to see how our 135lb cityfied cane corso responded to the horses and donkey. We also went tromping through the woods. Sig jumped a rabbit and a deer... it was really awesome to see him out in nature. We really had a great time here. Thanks Elizabeth for sharing your property! I believe we'll be back for sure.
