The forest provides a lush canopy of towering trees, including majestic hemlocks, beech, maple, oak, and white pine, creating a peaceful haven. While the natural setting offers a serene escape, we do recommend packing bug spray to ensure a comfortable stay amidst the local wildlife. Bring your own pillows and blankets. Just a quick 60-second walk down the hill from the parking area, you'll find your campsite eagerly awaiting your arrival. For your convenience, we've provided a portable toilet at the parking location. Our goal is to ensure your comfort during your stay, which is why we've equipped the campsite with everything you need. From a spacious tent and a comfortable queen adjustable air bed, to an ample supply of firewood, cooking pots and pans, a camp stove, a campfire ring, a cooking grate, a hammock for leisurely relaxation, a portable battery power station, a cooler with an ice block, drinking water, chairs, and small tables-we've got you covered. But that's not all! As part of our commitment to providing a memorable experience, we have a special treat for you. We have four friendly chickens that happily provide fresh eggs for your breakfast. Additionally, we have a lovable German Shepherd on our property who may be eager to greet you with a wagging tail and affectionate cuddles. However, if you prefer to have some space, simply let us know in advance, and we'll ensure that our furry friend respects your boundaries. While our campsite offers a tranquil retreat, you'll be delighted to discover that you're only a short two-block walk from lively bars, restaurants, and even an ice cream parlor. Spring Lake is just a short drive away, where you can launch your kayak at the nearby spring lake launch and enjoy a serene paddle on the calm waters. If you prefer a leisurely stroll, Spring Lake and its picturesque surroundings are perfect for a scenic walk. Should you wish to explore further afield, the charming town of Spring Lake is a quick 10-minute drive away, while the vibrant waterfront of Grand Haven is just 12 minutes away. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Hoffmaster State Park, a mere 10-minute drive, and downtown Muskegon is a short 16-minute drive. For those craving the excitement of the city, Grand Rapids and its renowned Van Andel Arena are only 30 minutes away by car. Whether you're passing through West Michigan or planning a longer stay to take advantage of the area's many attractions, our unique campsite offers unrivaled privacy, comfort, and delightful surprises. Think of it as a glamping experience with all the essential amenities, breathtaking views, and the possibility of a furry companion. Magic in the woods
The lights coming down leading to the tent was magical. I really liked that the tent was totally covered and dry. Next to the site is the tiniest waterfall that makes everything just more relaxing. Had the whole site to ourselves which made us feel like we're at a second home.

Serenity
We absolutely LOVED our stay here!! It was secluded yet close to everything you needed! Amy met us upon our arrival and explained all the amenities her property had to offer during our stay, showing us the trail and showing us the remote controlled lights that lead the path to your oasis! Amy had left an adorable welcome basket within the tent along with nuts, apples, a fan for those hotter nights, lanterns, a tour guide, and camp rules! The stocked outdoor kitchen along with the supply of water, plant based dish soap and rags, fully stocked wood, and a cooler filled with an ice block ready for storing all your cold supplies was an absolutely AMAZING touch. Thank you so much Amy!! We WILL be back! :)

Western Michigan Glamping
Absolutely loved Amy’s beautiful glamping setup and all the equipment / firewood provided. Make sure to bring some tinder / fire starter if it’s been wet. The lights were a beautiful touch as well as the water feature to babble you to sleep :) thanks Amy we would love to come back!
