The pretty fishing village of Little Haven, on Pembrokeshire's west coast, is a transformative place.
At high tide, water ripples at the bottom of the village, which stacks into the side of the bay and makes for a great place to launch boats (or watch others launch boats from outside the local pub). When the tide recedes, however, a charming, narrow beach appears, with rockpools to explore and starfish scattered about. At low tide it’s possible to walk round the headland into a wide sandy bay called The Settlands or all the way to neighbouring Broad Haven along the sand.
