Contact directly with Qs - thanks!** Nestled on the hilltops near Bucks Mills and Clovelly, 10-15min walk by footpath from the SW coast path, our 13 acre smallholding-in-progress offers rustic nearly-wild camping in our wildflower meadows. Share your space with hares, deer, foxes, owls, songbirds, field voles, bees and butterflies. The views from the fields are a well kept local secret - from your tent or van look out over Hartland, Lundy island, Saunton, Croyde, Exmoor and Dartmoor, even Pembrokeshire on a clear day! FACILITIES: In keeping with our low impact approach, the fields are just fields, but with the addition of some picnic benches! A flushing toilet, drinking water, hot shower, charging and WiFi are found by the farmhouse. BBQs and fires permitted off the ground and we have fire pits for loan and logs for sale. Please pack out all rubbish and leave NO trace. Dogs welcome under close control - please avoid meadow centres in summer to protect the nesting skylarks and ensure they do NOT chase the wildlife. ACCESS: Easily accessible by 4WD, and 2WD in summer/when dry. Be aware it's a grassy uphill track, if your vehicle is not great off-road... (but everyone so far has been fine!) The views are worth the walk though! Campervans have backup options lower down near the house. THE SITE: Nature spot, relax and stargaze across our 4 fields. We recently planted 800 trees for a new woodland, created a wildlife pond, and are establishing a traditional cider orchard. Rose looks after our vegetable garden and usually has some native breed piglets. Our apiary is managed by Jon who will happily explain about bees... and sell you a jar of honey for breakfast. Note - the area is agricultural with very occasional farm noise and odour. We are pleased to be a South West Coast Path Waymaker, and welcome walkers. We also welcome anyone enjoying the Atlantic Highway or South West 660. We like classics and have spanners! Flexible arrival/departure. If we are not around just choose a spot and we'll find you later. We are both keen adventurers and happy to provide tips on things to do and places to visit! Admittedly we were blessed with the weather at the August bank holiday weekend so we could sit outside our tent and enjoy the fantastic sea views. Rebecca was very friendly and helpful. It’s a great location for walking two days of the SW Coast path. Back to basics amenities were clean and well kept. The hot shower was a little temperamental . We will return 🙂

We have been camping for over 25 years now and this is by far the best campsite we have stayed on . This is due to the lovely and welcoming owners . The largest pitch we have ever stayed on with outstanding views . The dogs being able to be off the lead on your pitch . We didn’t need to move the van off the site as the South West Coastal path was a 15 minute walk away . One day we walked to Peppercombe beach then the next day we walked in the other direction to Bucks Mills . We honestly didn’t want to go home as it was so peaceful and relaxing there. Before we left I bought 3 jars of their own honey and two jars are meant for Christmas presents but it’s so delicious that it might not make it !!!! We will definitely go back and also tell our friends about this wonderful site.

Lovely campsite. Amazing views with so much space as only 3 pitches. Shower was an added bonus and flushing toilet, all very clean and well looked after. Great attention to detail on all aspects of the site. Rose and Jon were such lovely hosts. We stayed 2 nights but would have loved to stay more. Close to the costal path and 15 mins walking distance to The Hoops pub. Delicious home grown honey that can be bought. Can’t fault anything.

A beautiful place with stunning views. So much space between the pitches that it’s pretty close to a wild camping experience. Gorgeous wild flowers around the site that make the space feel considered without feeling overly manicured. We forgot our air bed and Rose was so helpful in lending us some cushions to sleep on. 100% recommend and I hope to be back soon.

Absolutely amazing. What a find! We felt truly blessed to have this site to ourselves for the first night, and even when others arrived on the second night, it is such a low density campsite that you hardly notice other people there. It was so relaxing to be able to have our two lively dogs off lead, chasing each other around the meadow while we sat back & enjoyed a local cider or two, watching the sunset over the North Devon coast. The pitches are generous and the picnic benches were very useful. Our Ford Transit Custom struggled a little bit on the hill on the first attempt, but with a bit more oomph we managed just fine. The facilities are immaculate. The owners and their dog are lovely! We bought some of the honey which we have yet to try, but it looks really delicious. This is one of the best campsites I've been to and we will absolutely come again next time we're in the area.

Wow, what a find! So pleased we came across Jon and Rose’s campsite, it was just what we were looking for! Being self sufficient in our camper, this spot is just perfect. A secluded small campsite with generous pitches and absolutely stunning views with wildlife to watch as the sun sets. The owners are just lovely, very helpful in sharing some local tips! The (brand new) shower and toilet facilities are really clean. Our time here was perfect, quiet, undisturbed with beautiful views. Can’t wait to come back when in the area!

The views from the fields are a well kept local secret - from your tent or van look out over Hartland, Lundy island, Saunton, Croyde, Exmoor and Dartmoor, even Pembrokeshire on a clear day! FACILITIES: In keeping with our low impact approach, the fields are just fields, but with the addition of some picnic benches! A flushing toilet, drinking water, hot shower, charging and WiFi are found by the farmhouse. BBQs and fires permitted off the ground and we have fire pits for loan and logs for sale. Please pack out all rubbish and leave NO trace. Dogs welcome under close control - please avoid meadow centres in summer to protect the nesting skylarks and ensure they do NOT chase the wildlife. ACCESS: Easily accessible by 4WD, and 2WD in summer/when dry. Be aware it's a grassy uphill track, if your vehicle is not great off-road... (but everyone so far has been fine!) The views are worth the walk though! Campervans have backup options lower down near the house. THE SITE: Nature spot, relax and stargaze across our 4 fields. We recently planted 800 trees for a new woodland, created a wildlife pond, and are establishing a traditional cider orchard. Rose looks after our vegetable garden and usually has some native breed piglets. Our apiary is managed by Jon who will happily explain about bees... and sell you a jar of honey for breakfast. Note - the area is agricultural with very occasional farm noise and odour. We are pleased to be a South West Coast Path Waymaker, and welcome walkers. We also welcome anyone enjoying the Atlantic Highway or South West 660. We like classics and have spanners! Flexible arrival/departure. We are a relaxed, spacious campsite on a quiet family run farm at the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula. Whether it is enjoying the local beaches, coastal walks, cycling trails, castles or attractions Lamarth Farm is a simple and uncomplicated site ideally situated to explore all these things. Whatever you get up to when enjoying your stay with us be assured there is plenty of space for you to relax and unwind in the Cornish countryside taking in the fantastic valley views across Mounts Bay. Our Pitch sizes at Lamarth Farm are unrestricted so you are able to spread out! We allow barbeques and campfires if they are raised off the ground so they don’t damage the land. We welcome well behaved dogs and ask that they are on leads around the campsite. We do have a designated dog exercise area and with 2 dog friendly beaches within 5minutes drive and an award winning dog friendly pub! Not only with you have a fantastic holiday your four legged friend will too. Our facilities have been kept to just the basics and they are well looked after.
