We arrived on a Sunday, the very last day of Summer hols for most people and there was absolutely no other campers. As it was only myself and my son, we thought it might be disappointing with no life...but it was great. Sheenagh and Wayne, who run the farm were super friendly and gave me loads of info. The cafe opened every morning, and locals came by and it all came to life, plus we had great coffee and a lovely breakfast. One of the locals, I think his name was Nick, was practicing herding sheep with his dog and told us all about it, which was really interesting. Lastly, the showers, in an old horse box, were fantastic, just what you need at the end of the day. All in all, a great stay and highly recommend.

This was good trip. The campsite is large and open so you can pick any spot you like. There is a place for a campfire in the middle of the field with some seats. There is drinking water on site and the toilets are very decent with toilet paper and soap provided. There is a shop where u can get wood, vegies, cold drinks and other bits (soft drinks only) The staff running the site are very friendly. There is showers on site with hot water and fairly good pressure. There is lots of green fields and a few local attractions. We did the Glastonbury Tor. I recommend doing it in the evening when the sun goes down. Be careful tho, it's quite steep so wear good shoes. On the farm itself you can see rabbits, lamas and goats. If you walk up the hill a bit you might see larga large herd of bulls who turned out to be very friendly (if you feed them some grass, but be careful, it's a bull). We were also lucky to see army planes and helicopters doing a very low fly by above the camping site. Very impressive. Overall we had a good time and it was a cheap little holiday.

Bill and Helen are so lovely and accommodating. A very ebullient and energetic couple. They rallied all the campers together on our last night to play volleyball as the site was closing for the season the next day. There’s a volleyball and badminton net in the middle of the field with rackets etc supplied if you just want a fun knock up. There pitch sizes are great are really generously spaced out. Loved the llamas and the fresh hen eggs that Helen left out for grabs one morning.! Couldn’t fault this place. We will be back.

We had a lovely time camping at Knowler Farm. Lots of space and friendly owners. The coffee shop is great too. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the campsite! It had Basic amenities like compost toilet, hot shower, drinking water tap and the bonus was a lovely cafe.
We stayed for 2 nights but mostly had activities booked around Folkestone harbour which is only 15 min by car.

A wonderful small site with all the facilities you need. Bill made us feel truly welcome. A short walk from the site into the woods and to the river, perfect for the dog to cool off and swim. Some evening noise from Sandy Balls but as explained in the site description. It was handy having those site facilities right next door. We’d definitely return.

It was great. The facilities are really good and the owners are friendly. I would stay again but not on pitch 2 as it's on a hill and our bed was a bit lopsided! The toilets should also just be unisex as I used the men's when it was free and got tutted at even though there was a queue for the women and no men when I went in and the toilets were just toilets not anything like a urinal or like a load of toilets. Just single toilets both exactly the same. Anyway, that's just a detail and overall we had a brilliant time thank you!

Lovely, laid back campsite. Basic facilities but everything worked as it should. Nice walk into Glastonbury town. Campfires allowed. Firewood available at £5 a bag. Would recommend if your looking for peace and quiet whilst surrounded by nature.

We stayed for 10 nights and had a great time.
If you want a very quite site this my not be for you as you get quite a bit of noise from the nearby Sandyballs site.

Great for children and adults alike friendly and hospitable can't recommend enough.

Took my two boys camping for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. One night were were the only ones there so really relaxing
Cafe serves great coffee and kids love the fruit ice lollys
Will definitely return.

We had amazing stay at the campsite of Bill and Helen. Everything was very clean, spacious pitches and very lovely hosts. The campsite was very close to the entrance of The New Forest, which was easy to visit from the campsite.
Our kids had a good time with the alpacas, the playground and just being able to run around.

Wayne’s campsite is brilliant. Everyone was so kind & nice. It’s is in lovely countryside and all the facilities are there. We went with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed the weekend immensely.
