A fantastic place to camp. The facilities were great the welcome was lovely and the views amazing. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. Linda and hubby were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and modern. The directions were clear and easy to follow. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the owls late into the evening. Will recommend to anyone looking to visit the area, and the eggs were delicious too.

We loved this site, its overall size and simple spotless facilities, no fuss booking and check in, great location, gorgeous views, and a mud free level pitch despite the gails and rain we brought with us! Darren and Diana were fab, great communication, excellent care of the site and they even lent us a pair of grips when we found our gas tank valve has seized up and we couldn’t open it by hand. Hospitable hosts and a lovely site. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The Hut at Hafod Las
Our stay at the hut was lovely, so relaxing and quite, the breakfast that Helen provided for us gor when we arrived was delicious, the hut had everything we needed and the wood burner was so cosy for when it got a bit chilly, thanks Helen for a lovely weekend in the hut we will definitely be returning soon xx

We had a fantastic weekend, just what we like in a campsite, small super quiet and chilled, fantastic views and good facilities, Darren & Diana were good hosts and communicated very well. Great walking in the area, the price you pay for the great view is a good hike back up to the site but worth it..! We stopped at the tea room down in the village before taking on the hill home, can highly recommend all the fresh cakes and food from the tea room a little gem.

Lovely little family-feel site, only 5 pitches so you get to know your neighbours! Would a great site if you have a few of you - to have the full site to yourselves if allowed. The facilities are nice; toilet & shower, hot water with outdoor washing up area - all you need on a little site like this. Good location for Chrome Hill and Parkhouse hill and other walks around the area.
Very open/exposed site at the top of the hill, so be mindful of the weather forecast. It was 39/40 mph wind the whole time I was there so did have to leave a night early unfortunately as my tent would not have survived! But apart from the uncontrollable weather, it was a lovely stay. Worth the visit!

Lovely little site with amazing views and quiet surroundings. Clean toilet & basic shower facility with water and cleaning items such as bin bags, kitchen sponges. We arrived at 6pm to an empty site and grabbed the corner plot before another couple arrived shortly after but was very comfortable all night. Owners checked in morning of departure but no issues to report. Will be back when the weather is drier to tackle pack house hill!

We had a great time at Chrome Hill Campers - it had a really relaxing vibe and the views were amazing. Just perfect to wake up to. It was a small site but it has everything you need. The toilet/shower block was spotless as was the separate washing up area. Would definitely come back!

We loved this site for a family of four. Not overcrowded, clean and modern facilities, incredible view, and friendly hosts. My girls enjoyed use of the hut for getting some shade from the sun and charging their phones!!

Lovely spot with nice views. Toilet blocks were spotlessly clean. There were a few other campers there, but the site was very peaceful and quiet. Few pubs and small shops within easy walking distance.
Helpful communications from Laura. Would recommend a stay here if you want to get away from it all.

Lovely quiet site. Numerous local walks, through wooded areas, canal side and quiet roads. Enjoyed a circular walk to White Coppice. Fire pits and wood available.

Absolutely gorgeous location!
Right next to Chrome hill, also know as Dragons back and a short drive to other greats hikes in the peaks such as Mam Tor.
It’s a small site which only has 5 pitches for campers/ motorhomes or roof tents.
Small but plenty of spec either side of your pitch and at the back so you have space for an awning/ gazebo set up. There is also a lovely little enclosed area with a picnic bench for everyone to use.
Only one toilet but plenty for the fact there are only 5 pitches, it was lovely and clean with a hot water shower.
There was also a little washing up area outside to clean your dishes and a tap for filling drinking water!
Much more than I expected from such a small site.
100% we will be back as it’s a perfect location for hikes and a gorgeous stay!
The hosts were also super friendly and helpful before and during our stay! Thank you again ☺️✨
Oh and it’s dog friendly, what more could you want.
