Come and stay in your own private camp site! Your luxury 6 metre bell tent sits in its own secluded field with a lovely view onto a rolling meadow. The valley is home to a wide variety of birds and butterflies, and deer come to drink at the spring in the meadow. Night skies are free of pollution, perfect for stargazing. It is a very tranquil special place, ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and be immersed in nature, and where children can explore freely. There is an 11-metre swimming pool at our home for you to enjoy, again with lovely views!
Your comfortably furnished bell tent has a double and two or three single beds as required, made up with crisp linens and blankets for cooler nights. A cot is also available. Solar lighting and floor cushions create a cosy atmosphere, and there are board games for kids. A mosquito net runs all around the tent to allow for ventilation and to keep bugs out. Next to the tent is a charming outdoor kitchen, complete with bottle gas stove and utensils for cooking, and a wooden picnic table for dining. A barbeque and fridge are also available at the camping station, just three minutes’ walk down the lane. Here you will find your private bathroom, complete with towels and toiletries. There is also a sink for washing up with a lovely view over the meadow.
There are good walks from the campsite and really spectacular walking a bit further afield in the Averyon Gorge. Bike hire and horse riding are available nearby. In Laguepie, just 10 minutes drive, there is surveilled river swimming, and lively restaurants and bars for dining. Half an hour's drive away is the pretty town of St Antonin, with kayaking down the Averyron Gorge, as well as a fantastic Sunday market.
The area is rich in culture with the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel just 10 minutes drive, and the city of Albi with its spectacular cathedral, a Unesco site, just 40 mins away. Albi is also home to the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, good restaurants and shopping.
The Gaillac vineyards are a short drive and offer wine tastings and evening concerts. Summer is the time for festivals here, and there is always some entertainment taking place in one of the nearby villages.
The bell tent is available June, July and August for a minimum of 2 nights.

These are the key terms of our holiday park "Glamping Aquitaine", in the heart of the Department of La Dordogne, France.
Glamping is a form of camping, but at « home Sweet Lodge » it is GL – Grand Luxe: luxuriously enjoying your holiday.
We offers a lot of privacy for our guests. A lot of privacy because on a recreation area of approx. 1 hectare only 5 luxury safari tents have been placed. The view from every tent is breathtaking.
Of course there is a swimming pool and you will find all kinds of sports and game possibilities.
We, Audrey and Sébastien, are always nearby or available for information, help or just for a chat. On occasion we open our small bar; our guests can then meet each other and exchange information while enjoying a drink and a snack.
We bought the Glamping in may 2025.

Glamping Aquitaine has been realized on former vineyards; Our tents therefore have the name of a grape variety: Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Sancerre and Sauvignon.
Tent Sauvignon is suitable for the disabled due to its location, accessibility and furnishings.
THE SWIMMING POOL
We have opted for a saltwater pool; this is more natural and comfortable than a pool with chlorine. Skin and eyes are not burdened with all kinds of chemicals. The salinity is significantly lower than in the sea.
The pool is heated to be able to enjoy it in early and late season. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The pool is fenced, so that small children cannot enter unaccompanied.
THE SPORTS AND GAMES FACILITIES
There is always something to do at our park, for young and old.
A small list: Jeu-de-boule-court, football field, basketball, table tennis table, swings, playhouse, trampoline, crocket, badminton sets, and so on.

Daily life here unfolds outdoors. Bathe in a unique earthship-style shower built from earthbags, lime and cob, with glass bottle walls that shimmer with light. Sink into the wood-fired hot tub as the scent of Douglas fir and oak drifts through the air. Cook slowly in the living-roof outdoor kitchen surrounded by herbs, or fire up the cob pizza oven made from clay sourced directly from the land.
At the heart of the retreat is a handcrafted timber roundhouse with a living roof, built using wood from our own forest. It’s a sanctuary for stillness, reflection, yoga, music or simply sitting by the fire and letting the nervous system soften.
For guests seeking deeper relaxation, luxury spa treatments using hot stones and bespoke essential oil blends are available to book in advance. Breathwork sessions can also be arranged, offering a powerful yet gentle way to reset, release tension and reconnect - made even more potent by the natural surroundings.
The wider landscape invites exploration: ancient pilgrimage paths, wildflower meadows, organic gardens and nearby villages rich in stone architecture, local markets and outstanding French cuisine. Each year, we’re fortunate to be near a stage of the Tour de France, as well as within close proximity to the Marciac Jazz Festival, which hosts world-famous jazz artists over a ten-day period toward the end of July and the beginning of August.

Come and stay in your own private camp site! Your luxury 6 metre bell tent sits in its own secluded field with a lovely view onto a rolling meadow. The valley is home to a wide variety of birds and butterflies, and deer come to drink at the spring in the meadow. Night skies are free of pollution, perfect for stargazing. It is a very tranquil special place, ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and be immersed in nature, and where children can explore freely. There is an 11-metre swimming pool at our home for you to enjoy, again with lovely views!
Your comfortably furnished bell tent has a double and two or three single beds as required, made up with crisp linens and blankets for cooler nights. A cot is also available. Solar lighting and floor cushions create a cosy atmosphere, and there are board games for kids. A mosquito net runs all around the tent to allow for ventilation and to keep bugs out. Next to the tent is a charming outdoor kitchen, complete with bottle gas stove and utensils for cooking, and a wooden picnic table for dining. A barbeque and fridge are also available at the camping station, just three minutes’ walk down the lane. Here you will find your private bathroom, complete with towels and toiletries. There is also a sink for washing up with a lovely view over the meadow.
There are good walks from the campsite and really spectacular walking a bit further afield in the Averyon Gorge. Bike hire and horse riding are available nearby. In Laguepie, just 10 minutes drive, there is surveilled river swimming, and lively restaurants and bars for dining. Half an hour's drive away is the pretty town of St Antonin, with kayaking down the Averyron Gorge, as well as a fantastic Sunday market.
The area is rich in culture with the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel just 10 minutes drive, and the city of Albi with its spectacular cathedral, a Unesco site, just 40 mins away. Albi is also home to the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, good restaurants and shopping.
The Gaillac vineyards are a short drive and offer wine tastings and evening concerts. Summer is the time for festivals here, and there is always some entertainment taking place in one of the nearby villages.
The bell tent is available June, July and August for a minimum of 2 nights.

These are the key terms of our holiday park "Glamping Aquitaine", in the heart of the Department of La Dordogne, France.
Glamping is a form of camping, but at « home Sweet Lodge » it is GL – Grand Luxe: luxuriously enjoying your holiday.
We offers a lot of privacy for our guests. A lot of privacy because on a recreation area of approx. 1 hectare only 5 luxury safari tents have been placed. The view from every tent is breathtaking.
Of course there is a swimming pool and you will find all kinds of sports and game possibilities.
We, Audrey and Sébastien, are always nearby or available for information, help or just for a chat. On occasion we open our small bar; our guests can then meet each other and exchange information while enjoying a drink and a snack.
We bought the Glamping in may 2025.

Glamping Aquitaine has been realized on former vineyards; Our tents therefore have the name of a grape variety: Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Sancerre and Sauvignon.
Tent Sauvignon is suitable for the disabled due to its location, accessibility and furnishings.
THE SWIMMING POOL
We have opted for a saltwater pool; this is more natural and comfortable than a pool with chlorine. Skin and eyes are not burdened with all kinds of chemicals. The salinity is significantly lower than in the sea.
The pool is heated to be able to enjoy it in early and late season. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The pool is fenced, so that small children cannot enter unaccompanied.
THE SPORTS AND GAMES FACILITIES
There is always something to do at our park, for young and old.
