Julie’s property is private, clean and well maintained.
This was our 3rd stay at this property and we look forward to the stay every time.
We always have a relaxing time while we are on property and enjoy the views and all of the scenery near by. Traffic in the area is extremely light with groceries and shopping close
Excited for our stay next year.
Julie is a welcoming host and it has always been great to see her when we arrive.

This spot was fantastic!! Nice and private on our part and the hosts part. We did not feel like we were intruding on her space and she kept her distance making us feel like it was our own private spot. The views were beautiful. It was nice being in town and close to everything but not feeling like we were in the middle of the city! The animals were a huge bonus. Our boys loved seeing them and hearing them every morning. The communication was fantastic. The rules/expectations were very clear and reasonable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future travels.

If you want a beautiful and private stay with an awesome and super friendly host....this is your place. Some very friendly horses to talk with as well. Farm fresh eggs available too! Stay at Julie's for a fabulous desert scenery stay.

Your camping in the backyard of a house on a 2 acre plot. Although it appears to be suburban and the lot is walled/fenced on three sides there is an astonishing amount of wildlife here. Flocks of doves, coveys of quail, tons of rabbits, other birds and we could hear coyotes every morning. The Suarouro (sp?) Cactus are really impressive if you've never been right up close to one. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and Louise let me park the sprinter under the shade next to the corral... That was huge for keeping the van cool in 105 Phoenix weather. Thank you for that. The place is 20min from Mayo Clinc so we will definitely be back. And yes... we got a fantastic loaf of homemade bread.

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed! Julie is a super host, so kind and checks in to be sure everything is in order. Great facility, private area separated from the house. Nothing else is available anywhere in the Santan Valley. Fenced area, great for dogs.

Very welcoming reception. Louise has got a big terrain. It is quiet and fully hook up is available. Louise is a very good host, respects your privacy. As a welcome gift she brought us home made cheese cake, so nice. Would definitely stay again.

The property was just as expected. Clean, quiet and away from town. Walking trails are within a mile of the campsite. Just what we were looking for. And we bought some delicious farm fresh eggs from Julie! PERFECT!!

Tammii was a great host! The site was clean and we had our own private area. We stayed for 13 nights and having washer and dryer was a big plus! Really close to all stores including Costco, Starbucks, Target, and a big mall. We really enjoyed our stay and we would come back!

We loved staying at Tammii & Kevin’s property so much that we extended 2 nights. You have your own little private patio area, which is great for your dog(s) to hang out as well. We wanted to be right in Mesa which this location is so you are central to all kinds of sight seeing.
Tammii & Kevin are super nice & very helpful. Backing up our 30 feet travel trailer into their separate driveway was no problem.
They even have a laundry set up for guests.
We highly recommended staying with them & give them 20 out of 10 stars.

Where to go
Marne Valley
South of Reims, the vine-clad slopes of the Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park provide a verdant backdrop for hiking and biking. From here, the Marne River winds its way west through the Marne Valley, leading the way to family-run vineyards, fairy-tale châteaux, and the Champagne villages of Hautvillers, Châtillon-sur-Marne, and Château-Thierry.
Champagne Tourist Route
The official Champagne Tourist Route comprises six different marked trails totaling more than 370 miles and linking the region’s principal wine-growing regions, Champagne cellars, and vineyards. Stop off in Epernay to stroll down the Avenue de Champagne, sip Chardonnay in the Côte des Blancs, then cycle through the green vales of the Côte de Bar.
Ardennes Regional Natural Park
Just an hour’s drive north of Reims, the wooded hills and untamed countryside of the Ardennes Regional Natural Park are peppered with WWI and WWII battlefields, sleepy rural villages, and rocky cliffs. Mountain bike enthusiasts will be in their element here, but you can also hike the hilltops, explore natural caves, and camp out in the wilderness.
When to go
Summer, especially July-Aug, brings huge crowds to Reims, and it’s worth timing your visit for the quieter (and cheaper) months of spring or fall instead. Speaking of fall, this is harvest time at the region’s many Champagne vineyards and the ideal time for tasting. The main camping season runs from April through October, but don’t be put off by a winter visit—Reims Christmas markets are rightly popular, and seasonal snowfall renders the city even more magical.
