We had an unusual stay because of staying so late in the season--we got to be the only people staying here! Which is always our favorite because we are always trying to get away from the crowd.
Domaine generously allowed us to use the facilities in one of the chalet as the group water use area was shut off for the season. We were quite comfortable in our travel trailer as a result.
We would love to try the community kitchen next time because there will be a next time!
Also, super bonus are the walking/atv trails that lead out into the wilderness from the camp. Plenty of places to walk around.

It was a really great campsite! Denis is a very good host and was very kind to show me everything. It was a very nice fire pit area and he was kind enough to let me use his lawn chairs and tables. He was also kind enough to let me use his kayaks to go out on the lake which was very beautiful and it's a nice view to wake up to. I highly recommend this place and I would go again.

This is a wonderful spot to stay as an RVer. The site was level and easily accessible. The bathroom was clean, the shower hot and there was a washing machine for our use. The property was large and had many spots to explore and enjoy.
We used this site as a jump off into Quebec City. It is about 1 hour away.

Denis and his wife made a us feel welcome to their property. They are exceptionally kind , and even though English was not their first language they went above and beyond to understand stand our conversation. Their property is beautifully taken care of and sits right on the lake shore. The spot for us offered a great view of the lake. The neighbours were all quiet as we did expect party noise from the lake. It was very quiet and pleasant. A fantastic stay and we highly recommend these host.

this is such a sweet spot - so beautiful and peaceful. The owner, MariLee, is inspirational and kind and you really way get more than you pay for when you stay here. Besides the beautiful grounds there are so many special surprises- an upscale floating dining cabin on the pond, free kayak paddle for the kids, playground, animals to visit, a beautiful walk and river dip spot onsite, and that's not to mention the electrical hook up, and clean cozy bathroom with hot shower. If you are in the area this is a must stop spot! especially if you have kids.

Our family is on a roadtrip and after a couple of nights wilderness camping we were in desperate need of a shower and some laid back days. We found Domaine Beausite and only planned to stay one night but ended up asking to stay a second because we were so thrilled by this beautiful property and how well taken care of everything is. Nice clean bathroom with a hot shower, a gorgeous gazebo on the lac with everything you need to BBQ or cook a lovely meal. The kids loved the play area and getting to pet the ponies. Thank you SO much!!! We would love to come back sometime! Merci!!! :)

The best time to visit Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site is during the summer months, from late June to August, when the Interpretation Center is open and the full schedule of activities is available. The external site is accessible year-round, offering different seasonal charms, but winter visits may present challenges due to snow and cold temperatures.
