Cooks and Puppies Hideaway

Ever since spending my toddler years on a forestry lookout, I have been called back to the wilderness. It’s in my blood. As a young girl, my dream was to live off the grid. So at age 24, I bought my Vines and Puppies cabin. For the last 20 years, I’ve been living and exploring the backcountry at my doorstep in all of its seasonal glory. Now I am fortunate to be living my dream as a self-sustaining female entrepreneur and I want to share it with you. Come and experience my cozy B&B’s on the edge of adventure; whether it be on foot, canoe, kayak, snowmobile or ATV. I love to cook and bake; in the early days canning on a 2 burner camp stove and cooking on the woodstove. Now I have a full-service kitchen completely stocked and supply homemade local meals to my guests. Some of my favourite things – include pooches, fishing, finding the story in animal tracks, identifying plants, berry picking, river boating, finding the perfect tree to fall for firewood, hard work, clean spaces and relaxing by an open fire.
